This is how i learnt to say it from this song - Loved it when Bill Butler played it on Radio City Licerpooll -So us Scousers could say it on a day out there
I am welsh and hate the fact that I can't speak it, but I do struggle with the middle, ending with "drob" as I can't pronounce my "r's" correctly can anyone help, cheers
Very cool. a friend turned me on to this vid and song... * now it's time to learn how to say it ten times fast! lol * Very very cool... This is a keepah^ as they say in Bawstau^n Massachusetts * rock on~!
I wrote it around 1982...the idea came over a coffee I was having with Paul.
The original pressing wasn't as they say it in the village (Paul being from South Wales) so we re-recorded it...both versions had the blessing of the professor of Welsh in Bangor Uni.....I sent a copy to Lady Di to help her with her Welsh and got a nice reply. It's now on a CD with other songs and Legends of the area...you can get it from my website donwoods.co.uk (CDs)

Don, when did you write this song? (I have a copy of the original single but it doesn't have a date on it that I can see.)
