Kawasaki from the the mid 70's on produced some gret motors that were dominant in drag racing. Bullet proof, tough motors based on the Z1 900 and later motors were the basis for some very successful drag racers in street, modified and unlimited categories. They have held world records at various times. Suzuki has been been more successful in recent years but Kawasakis still race competitively all around the world
