  • That sounds fake ass hell my uncle used to race snocross and I drove all of his sleds

  • @BiGdRiZzY234 how does that sound fake? are you stupid? my buddy had the same sled and it sounds pretty damn close to the same...

  • @BiGdRiZzY234 sounds fake?? are you fucking retarded?????

  • Haydays is the shit

  • did it add any hp

  • Hey its mattcatful again... SO I put a 5.25 inch riser on my sled and I just bought a brand new 1.325 COBRA track at haydays PLUS I am planning to gear down 1 toooth on my top gear when I change out the track for the new one. MY question is ... Do you think I will be able to wheelie? LIke with all possible things like limiter straps suspension etc.???? THanks ski-doofreak96-on dootalk and mattcatful on youtube.

  • 600s are great sleds. where did you get the silver windshield from?

  • nice sound

  • my dad had the same sled except my dads is a 700, wityh the same can, and he was nine miles in the woods, and he got a 150 fine for noise making , those cans are the shit

  • that thing sounds delishhhh

  • @proskater56 thanks!!!

  • Are the bars on it now the stock mxz bars? What was the top speed you had it at? I really haven't been able to open it up yet

  • @motoyama238 i THINK i put yfz450 bars on it, im pretty sure (if they're silver they're 450 bars) and i never held it wide open down a straight...only trail/wood riding. im guessing it would probably do 85ish tho with the gearing that it has

  • @Hawkman440x it should do 100 cause my zr 600 does 105

  • @thehondarider250 im thinkin maybe 90 tops...cause i gear'd it down from the factory size for more bottom end acceleration, so therefore it would lose some top end high speed

  • @Hawkman440x o ok i just thought u had with factory gearing

  • @thehondarider250 my 583 does 107

  • @MrSkidoomxz this isnt competition just sayin mine will do 105 with ease

  • @thehondarider250 I wont agree with that. BUT we weren't talking about the 600 in this video, we were talkin about my old 2002 mxz 500 (motoyama238 bought it and was asking more info about it) 85mph is factoring in the gears i put in it (i gear'd it down for more low-end acceleration instead of speed)

  • @Hawkman440x Hey um I tried to register the mxz 500 today and the guy i bought the sled from who you sold it to doesnt have the other part of the registration where the new owner signs to confirm that it is theirs now. If youu still have it that would be awesome. If you dont understand i can explain it a little better if you send me a private message with your phone number

    Thanks, Andrew

  • Ya the primary looked different than stock. Did ever have any problems with the can on trails around Webster and Wayne?

  • @motoyama238 no never any problems...i had alot of compliments on it tho...people saying that it sounded good. i never ran into any cops...i have before tho, i just dont stop lol

  • Regardless I love the sled it's snappy as hell? It looks like it has a spring off a Mach z.... Is that right?

  • @motoyama238 i gear'd it down when i first got it...so its faster out of the whole. what spring are you talking about, the primary clutch sping? the primary clutch spring is just an aftermarket one i replaced so it wolud engage at higher RPM. I like all my sleds snappy with alot of acceleration

  • There was no kill switch on it when I bought it it still has the tether but no kill switch

  • Ya it still has that but I gotta figure something out you got rid of the kill switch and the handle bar warmers

  • @motoyama238 i never got rid on the kill switch? i re-mounted on it on Riser. and the hand warmers....they tore off the original bars when i put the 450 bars on it. just wear warm gloves lol.. i rode ALL last year with motocross gloves.

  • I had contacted you a couple times last year about it but I just couldn't afford and then I think you sold it to some guy named Tom and he sold it to me a couple months ago. I love the thing it's sweet. I had to replace the crank seals but they weren't too bad I'm just lucky I noticed them before they went completely

  • @motoyama238 does it still have the bars i put on it? and the can?

  • what cables did u have to extend

  • @skullcandy987654321 Everything...brake line, throttle cable, and all my wires for the kill switch, hand warmers, high/low. (for the electrical just cut the wires (they're color matched) and use butt connectors and shrink wrap with a longer piece of wire in between that connects them)

  • @Hawkman440x I have your old 2002 mxz 500 liquid now lol

  • @motoyama238 oh yeah-who are you?? that was a good sled, fast for a 500!

  • what cables did u have to extend

  • @skullcandy987654321 i had a 2002 MXZ 500 liquid last year that i had even taller bars on. i only have pics of that, no video. i can send some to you if you want. let me know

  • did you have to change your jets when you put the can on???

  • @codywilfredgetson No you dont have to

  • @Hawkman440x thanks!!

  • sounds just lie my sled... 02 600 summit with an mbrp race can

  • ohh ok Thanks i am jsut wondering because i am getting 3 inch risers on my 2000 mxz 700 and i was wondering if they would go above the windshield?

  • @mattcatful i doubt they will. and with 3" you shouldnt have to extend any of your cables either

  • hey how many inch risers do you have on that thing?

  • @mattcatful 5" riser block on top op a 1" pitot block. and i was using mxzx straight bars,

  • Hey how many inch riser do you have on there????

  • @mattcatful 5" riser block on top op a 1" pitot block. and i was using mxzx straight bars,

  • Thanks man :)

  • hey i just got a sled do you think i can do a wheelie with my sled like you did?? without a can???? Mine is a 700.

  • @mattcatful shittt, it should! just plant your feet in the rear, and yank up on the bars-its simple.

  • @mattcatful Lol cans don't make a difference. Just sounds better.

  • @JoeythePope Cans do give a slight increase in power due to less restriction and better flow

  • @Hawkman440x well yeah MBRP claims up to 3hp gain, but most other companies don't claim anything. But a can does increase exhaust flow, and save weight. I think the 1-3hp gain is really neglegible on an already 130 (ish) hp sled. I don't think the can will mean the difference between if the sled can wheelie or not. That's more of what I meant.

  • im from chittenango and i got a 2005 ski-doo 600 h.o

  • Comment removed

  • so my neighbor got a can and i live just down the road from a bog where everyone goes on i hear ski-doos all night long

  • redneck. they are called snowmobiles, ski-doo is a brand

  • were im from there all called ski-doo's bro ok i live in buffalo new york got a cabin down in cheery creek and we call them ski-doo!!!!! cause if u aint got a ski-doo u aint got shit!! i got 2 myself!!

  • @katderja1123 your from buffalo?...im from rochester...weird.

  • @Hawkman440x yep buffalo have property in cherry creek great sleding there!

  • how much would one of them race cans cost about?

  • @hellyeahdawg1996 New i think like $230ish...if you look around you can probably find a used one for $100-150

  • hey i have the same sled and i bought an mbrp race can for it, and i was just woundering if i need to rejet it for the can or can i use the stock settings?

  • no rejet needed for any can ive heard of

  • yeah, you can run stock jetting

  • wow thing looks dope as hell with the risers and i love how the mbrp's sound at idle the sno stuff have almost a stock idl but a hell of a scream i have ss on my xc800

  • whats the difrence between the mbrp trail can and the race one besides sound?

  • i sonds freken olsome

  • i like the sound wen you did the wheelie

  • how much did you sell her for,

  • i bought it in the summer of 2008 for $1400 (a steal)...added the risers and mbrp...did alot of jetting and clutching...ended up selling it march of 2009 for $2700....i look back on it now, i should have kept it.

  • its a nice sled, my friends dad went out and bought a brand new polaris 600 iq shift, sold it and his kids sled the next year, he lost arround 3 grand on it, he regrets it.

  • hey man. i have a 97 mxz 440 f/c with a single pipe, no can (silencer and pipe in one) and i want to get a pipe and a can for it, but i cant find a mxz 440 pipe, do you think the 570 pipes would run okay wtih it?

  • i know exactly what your saying...i have done the same thing when i had a 96 formula 500sl - with pipe and can in one, i actually used a 670 pipe/can and it worked fine, the only other thing i did was put bigger jets in the carbs. the pipe was from a 98 670ho and it had a sno-stuff can. good luck with your project

  • alrgiht. i will try the 670 pipe, unless i can get my hands on a 583 pipe or something. is the snostuff and mbrp cans loud enough to get a sound ticket? i like my sled loud, but not like fucking deafening

  • 583 pipe might work as well...i know the outlet of the 583 is different than the 670. 500/600 pipes (you could also try a mxz 500/600/700 pipe/can now that i think about it, those shoud work as well, they're the same style as the 670's)...as far as tickets go, yes you can get tickets, but most cops ignore the fact...i love the sound of mbrp (which i run on my sleds) just bc the sound alot cleaner than sno-stuff's. i mean they sound MINT. but even after a while they can get kinda annoying

  • where did you get the can from?

  • dennis kirk . com or go right to the mbrp website

  • ya im 6ft and i might buy a 99 mxz 600 is there any other add ons you did to it besides the mbrp and risers cause that wheelie was badass

  • lol thanks... there wasnt much snow that day...usually i can hold them in a catwalk lol but i had to get the throttle cable extension for the risers, cause they're so tall....i had a newer 1 1/4" ripsaw track, HPG shocks (i rebuilt them myself this past season)....i tuned the carbs myself...just alot of tuning pretty much, i put a titanium spring in the primary clutch, along with new BD weights... pretty much a race setup... clutch engaged at ~5500 rpms. i also ported the Y pipe Myself.

  • -also i added a ski-doo electric temp gauge (so i made sure it didnt get hot) & i added a mechanical Fuel Pressure gauge (so i made sure i had good fuel pressure at all times, incase something happen with the pump or somthing, i could indicate weather it lost pressure...cause when they loose pressure they tend to get lean..due to lack to fuel...i pretty much just did alot of tuning mad... the only power adding i did was the can, carb work (jetting) & did ALOT of clutching. any other ?'s just ask

  • what size risers are on that

  • 8" Riser Block w/ Pivot Block... So Probably 9" total. i'm 6'3" and its perfect for me...can stand right up, and still have a little bend in my elbo's so its mint, in my eyes, its the best upgrade money can buy.

  • what do you have now?

  • Well sold the sled the day i took this video (good thing i did cause the next day all the snow was gone) i took the money and made a hefty payment on my 2007 R1... but this fall i plan on buying a 04+ Carb F6 SnoPro

  • yeah nice sled dude and nice sound too. checkout my mxz x 700 2002
