Although originally London born , I was raised in Petworth and its a lovely place. The large building in the Square is the Town Hall and my band The Triffiks played there many times. The Park and the National Trust house is something else, and when samll I played with Karen Wyndhame and her brother Max, who is now Baron Egremont and a very well known writer,.Thanks for the upload J ))(

What do you want instead of antique shops? They are one of the main reasons Petworth is so well known ! How about closing them down and opening a Burger king and a load of gift shops. That would make it much nicer , dont you think ?
