@yt3456100 It is unfair to say all Chinese people as 'fuckers', 'spitters' etc. The Chinese people you see are only a small subset of the entire population and may not even be from HK at all. There are people from every race that can be rude or disrespectful. By saying you are going to be racist to HK people is not stopping the problem but further reinforcing it. And Hong Kong is the most sanitized city, everything communal such as buttons, elevators etc get sanitized once every 2 hrs

Racism happens in every nation so I'm glad to see people addressing this issue. I usually hear about racism that pits Caucasians versus other races (and vice versa) in the news, so it's refreshing to see another perspective on the issue of racism, especially in a place like Hong Kong where so many races live together.

No matter how educated a chinese can be, he or she we never learn to respect, i meet alot of chinese everyday, in office, on the street, in some transportations, nearly all of the new generation on Hong Kong is rude and unrespectfull to all other races, but onething that these people should know, that indians were the first non chinese in the Royal Hong Kong Army, and were the second Non chinese policemens. Indians have been with Hong Kong as the history, please just please, give some respect.

@jaydee700 I noticed this during my recent visit to HK too. It wasn't like that when I went back 4 years ago. I was born in HK but grew up in the US and being in southern CA, I'm very darkly tanned. So tanned that I was mistakenly for a filippina. It didn't help that I dressed very casually & bought only comfy dark loose jeans (I didn't want to get muffin tops & show my American diet and lifestyle induced flab). So I looked every part a foreigner & I was treated like shit in my own country.
