This reminds me of some other franchise situations. Sonic is a prime example. SEGA went off to do other things besides normal platforming, or at least, altered it too much. The classic thing, jumping and spinning around was almost rid of completely. But obviously Generations revived it a tad... So if Threeie came out, there's gonna be difference. Don't expect it though.

Remember Banjo kazooie gruntry's revenge for the GBA, it was called banjo kazooie 2, even tho it wasn't really a part 2. It does take place after BK, but it's not an official part 2, its more like a 1 1/2. Banjo Tooie is part 2. So let's all assume NaB is 2 1/2. Banjo Threeie will be the real part 3. Copy and paste this all over videos.
Just roll with fact they are trying to expand the way we play the game. I played the originals and I was a very big fan but kids these days aren't into Banjo style game. All they want are guns. Rare are trying to adapt the game to a New Genaration of gamers!

First time i played banjo kazooie was in...2008 i think...yeah...But i loved every friggin aspect of. the gameplay, the jokes..everything. And mario 64 didn't have an anoying bird in a packpack that colud shoot eggs and carry you up hills..BRING BANJO BACK!!
It's a good game on it's own, but as a Banjo Kazooie game it's terrible.
Starfox Adventures suffered the same fate but that game was turned into starfox at the last minute so that could be excused...but this is Rare's own franchise.
What's next? A new killer instinct where you interact with your pet Saberwolf? Or how about a new battletoads where you have to solve puzzles?
Rare isn't as hardcore and popular anymore but maybe....That's for the best

This better not be Banjo Threeie. This is a total spin off. Its a classic killer. It ruind my childhood. I loved the first 2 games. There were no flaws. But as for Nuts and Bolts i think that it is an OK game it is not what i expected being a B&K fan. But it was a good game and i have fun playing it.
I HATE the new one. I had appreciated the beautiful worlds of ice and snow that were Earth-like but in BK form, not all this new garish stuff just piling on top of itself out of nowhere. The look of it seems to have no structure and the way B&K lives and moves is so unlike the original concept that you could just call it "bear and bird video game." I know they're trying to appeal to mass consumers, but they should make a game like the ones before, made with a lot of sincere thought and taste!

I have played the originals ALL my life, beat them millions of times and got EVERYTHING, And played N&B a few times through and just so you know, it isnt a BK3... Never will be. In my eyes its a spinoff. Alright game id give it a 6/10 nothing special. Annoying looking characters, ruined Mumbo for me, Blubber is a gay pirate, Jolly Roger is even gayer (yes that is possible) and cant explain how many times i got pissed just for seeing L.O.G's face on my screen ever 10 seconds.

Really, I think the reason so many people were disappointed is how freaking long it took for this game to be made. If there had been regular releases in the series since Tooie- like, just for example, a third game in 2003 and a fourth in 2006- I believe that people would be more welcoming toward Nuts & Bolts, as the classic platforming formula would feel a lot more stale.

Oh gosh, the story became too simple for greater graphics. Did the author(s) had too much trouble trying to make the storyline? They lose track of Grunty's talent as a Witch which should use more magic than mechanical things. It's ironic. They should hire her at Project Dream's power plant or something. What's next? Blobbelda & Mingella's spirit chatting through Facebook? Boggy advertising Coca-Cola for Christmas? Kazooie as a cashier at Kentucky's? Humba Wumba at Wendy's?

I played all the games, and as you all feel, the first games had much more quality in it. however compared to todays "adventure games" banjo kazooie is still the best. my brother and sister love nuts and bolts, they just would understand why the first is the best. I feel the era of the Super Mario 64 type game is completly over, im just glad banjo kazooie can still create decent game play and great memories for my siblings... and hopefully my kids in the future
I agree with everything you say. I miss the platforming and the old not-blocky characters. Vehicles wasn't a part of Banjo AT ALL. There wasn't even mine carts or anything before and all of a sudden EVERYTHING is about the vehicles.

I want Banjo-Threeie. That's all there's to it. Nuts and bolts is a fun game in itself. It blowed as a Banjo-Kazooie game. I grew up playing Banjo-Kazooie. I remember finishing the 1st to find out there was a second and waiting almost 2 years for it. It was awesome as well. I am majorly disappointed in the direction they took the new one.

I mean Resident Evil 4 was very different to the previous games in the series, but it wasn't completely different. Yeah no more zombies, yeah no more pre rendered backgrounds in an enclosed space but it's not as if it went from survival horror to RPG! Resident Evil was getting old and tired so they needed to change it, but you still go round shooting at biological weapons with a gun!
Hopefully Rare will learn from Capcom when they make the next real Banjo Kazooie.

I found this more like Halo 3: ODST. They made it just too see we're there going with it all. I'm sure Microsoft & Rare, know what people think, considering the fact Kazooie got her moves back in the end. i played banjo kazooie and banjo tooie (and still have them) and to be honest, im really disappointed how they MESSED up the series.. kinda like sonic, and dont give me that its more badass bullshit because in all honesty it just plain sucks.. hopefully, somehow, nintendo gets the rights to banjo kazooie, which i HIGHLY doubt.. but one can dream can he?

Do not judge a game as "bad" without even playing the freaking game. I have actually played this game and while different from the first two I found it to be fun. Yep it is a good game. Not as good as the first two but still good. If you have actually played the game and you say it is bad that's okay it is your opinion but do not judge unless you at least tried it. Fun game. I HATE the new one. I had appreciated the beautiful worlds of ice and snow that were Earth-like but in BK form, not all this new garish stuff just piling on top of itself out of nowhere. The look of it seems to have no structure and the way B&K lives and moves is so unlike the original concept that you could just call it "bear and bird video game." I know they're trying to appeal to mass consumers, but they should make a game like the ones before, made with a lot of sincere thought and taste!

I have played the originals ALL my life, beat them millions of times and got EVERYTHING, And played N&B a few times through and just so you know, it isnt a BK3... Never will be. In my eyes its a spinoff. Alright game id give it a 6/10 nothing special. Annoying looking characters, ruined Mumbo for me, Blubber is a gay pirate, Jolly Roger is even gayer (yes that is possible) and cant explain how many times i got pissed just for seeing L.O.G's face on my screen ever 10 seconds.

Big sigh big big big BIG SIGH! I cannot believe how SHITTY this game was. I grew up with the other two Nintendo 64 games, like the first two, and I loved them oh-so much. Like you said, the dialogue was fricking funny, everything was just so great... I got this game because I'm a true fan, and couldn't play it. It was.. It was terrible, it was a poor excuse for a Banjo game. I will never get over how this game was at the top and suddenly fell to it's death. Ever.

Really, I think the reason so many people were disappointed is how freaking long it took for this game to be made. If there had been regular releases in the series since Tooie- like, just for example, a third game in 2003 and a fourth in 2006- I believe that people would be more welcoming toward Nuts & Bolts, as the classic platforming formula would feel a lot more stale.

Oh gosh, the story became too simple for greater graphics. Did the author(s) had too much trouble trying to make the storyline? They lose track of Grunty's talent as a Witch which should use more magic than mechanical things. It's ironic. They should hire her at Project Dream's power plant or something. What's next? Blobbelda & Mingella's spirit chatting through Facebook? Boggy advertising Coca-Cola for Christmas? Kazooie as a cashier at Kentucky's? Humba Wumba at Wendy's?

I played all the games, and as you all feel, the first games had much more quality in it. however compared to todays "adventure games" banjo kazooie is still the best. my brother and sister love nuts and bolts, they just would understand why the first is the best. I feel the era of the Super Mario 64 type game is completly over, im just glad banjo kazooie can still create decent game play and great memories for my siblings... and hopefully my kids in the future

I agree with everything you say. I miss the platforming and the old not-blocky characters. Vehicles wasn't a part of Banjo AT ALL. There wasn't even mine carts or anything before and all of a sudden EVERYTHING is about the vehicles.

I'm all for the original, I want to give the 3rd banjo-kazooie a try, but it seems way to different and its not the same.. building vehicles... bleh, i have heared that the came is nothing BUT making vehicles....... I want the old running around an overworld collecting more jiggies to progress and getting more abilities from bottles/jamjars... In my opinion, It would have been cool if they made vehicles more of an extra feature than the core of gameplay. If they were just there to speed up exploration and solve a few puzzles, but what they did was just, overkill....

I want Banjo-Threeie. That's all there's to it. Nuts and bolts is a fun game in itself. It blowed as a Banjo-Kazooie game. I grew up playing Banjo-Kazooie. I remember finishing the 1st to find out there was a second and waiting almost 2 years for it. It was awesome as well. I am majorly disappointed in the direction they took the new one.

Im Japanese. I played both 1&2 over 5 times and i sttill play with my 64. I sware. It was the best and the hardest game to complete in all platform games. 3 is crap. I mean Resident Evil 4 was very different to the previous games in the series, but it wasn't completely different. Yeah no more zombies, yeah no more pre rendered backgrounds in an enclosed space but it's not as if it went from survival horror to RPG! Resident Evil was getting old and tired so they needed to change it, but you still go round shooting at biological weapons with a gun!
Hopefully Rare will learn from Capcom when they make the next real Banjo Kazooie.

I found this more like Halo 3: ODST. They made it just too see we're there going with it all. I'm sure Microsoft & Rare, know what people think, considering the fact Kazooie got her moves back in the end. Look at halo: Reach its what people love, it's what you'd expect in a Halo game, I'm over sure rare will make an offical "Banjo - Threeie some time in the in the future, why wouldn't they?
