I really loved the entire "free hugs"-campaign when the guy from (I believe) Sydney did it. But it's becoming a bit of an overdose.

Here in the Netherlands, we celebrate our freedom the 5th of May, and last year about 10 different groups of people were walking around with the signs.

It's losing it's message.

I think the more people join this campaign, the more persons will feel great and comfortable about it... perhaps it will make the world better at least for a few persons a day....

since people just walk around with the signs and are not approaching people it also has an annoyance factor of zero.

It looses it's meaning as they search out people they want to hug. It's done a lot by emo kids over here, and the only ones they hug are other emo kids. The whole idea is let all the people see the lack of love in the world, and to spread that again.

Lol I remember when we had a German exchange student in our classroom last year. She was telling me that she was freaked out when she arrived here at Panama because Panamanians are always hugging and kissing people and she told me you really don't see that in Germany. She was really surprised.
