He really made these championships the best ever! The way that all the athletes had fun with him really made it stand out from all the other sports events. He should be the face of the IAAF. Just made the summer a great memory.

I always used to dislike mascots, but berlino is so differend then the others. He is nice, cute, makes fun with all the people.

Yes, the toys were completely sold out. But I've read that they will be stocked up again for the Berlin Marathon on 20th September. Who knows, maybe we'll see then also the Big Berlino again, but I can't say that for sure... ;)

I could watch this over and over again. So glad to have a video several minutes long although if there was a berlino's berlin moments dvd I would probably buy. He brings out the best in people and made the events such great fun, what an ingenious idea, pure innocence and and such a delight to see the athletes enjoying a bear hug.
