I'VE GOT IT!!

The egg in the middle doesn't want to be shaked or pecked. So it gets angry and throws the other ones out of the nest. But the balance is destroyed and the nest falls of the rock.

My suggestion: Make the noise of the birds louder and the music not so dominant. It is important to make it very clear what the egg in the middle is "feeling". And make all the characters show their emotions clearer. Then people will understand why they do what they do. Nice little story - I think.
