  • She plays so wonderful, especially for her age! She's a real lady. (:

  • Wish I had a tiger mom growing up.

  • Whose arrangement is it?

  • @Dinamilson It's the original Tschaikowsky, as far as I can tell. I have the original score, and it seems to be following right along perfectly.

  • @vessel4Godsmusic Yes, you're right. I've just learned it was a transcription for piano of an originally orchestra piece. I got the score now. Thank you.

  • @Dinamilson This is Tschaikowsky's own original piano arrangement. I am playing this song myself.

  • @HaymondStudios Yes, that's what I meant,

  • man....i stopped playing piano when i was 5.....i play violin now...heehee.

  • i realize that i'm totally out of my league trying to learn this one but listening makes me eternally happy and i thank you for gracing me whit your playing

  • She's 12? From the camera's point of view she looks like 15-18 or something.

  • Asians. They're always good at everything.

  • 0_0 speechless. Just plain speechless.

  • Marvelous marvelous marvelous. So good it could be used as a definitive version, sincerely impressed and inspired

  • Tengene. This one's hard. HAHA XD

  • excellent performance!!

  • Impressive! Great interpretation of Tchaikovsky's music. I am green with envy.

  • @slave4evil lol me too im starting to learn this song but i just finished playing moonlight sonata

  • First mistake: The chord at secs 5 and 6 is wrong. You have to be careful with that kind of stuff.

  • Technically good.

    Where's the emotion?!

  • @jbosco08 fuckin wanka

  • @ewalks73 You dokta yet? No? You talk to me when you doktah.

  • :D most lovely played i have ever seen. omg. i wish i could have as much as half of her talent.. She's 16 right now if i have my "calculations" correct. She will be the next beethoven or mozart.. no TCHAIKOVSKY!! she'll be the new tchaikovsky for sure.. im sure she plays magnificently now.

  • Nice played !

  • it is good, but not perfect.

  • Oh my God! I'm 12 and I'm like a billion times worse at a song a billion times easier than this. I'm hopeless at everything I do :'(

  • @TeamJacob1903 Don't be sad by comparison to others. Find things you're good at, and become even better at them. Or take advantage of that feeling that you have, in seeing that some are better than you are (that will always be the case) as a motivation for working harder and getting the most of yourself.

  • @llama26 Thank you for motivational words ^^ I feel happy now 8D

  • Three letters: OMG.

  • Suite pour grand orchestre, arrangement pour la piano a 2 mains par l'auteur - 1898 D. Rahter Leipzig

  • That was amazing. I didn't even know it could be done by piano.

  • If there was a "love" button, that still wouldn't show how much amazement and appreciation i have for this video.

  • Very good, I must learn to play this.

  • beautiful... and no sheets :))

real pianist :)) much luck in the future

  • @hamiltonrrwDear Bill, I'm bery glad that you remember us. My daughter keep up playing the piano. But she now prepares for high school entrance exams and can't take a lot of time to practice the piano.... Oh, thanks for your reply to @sulumteneo.

  • Awesome. Any idea where to the sheet music for this (not for beginners?)

  • Although the pefomence was astonishing, it could've been better if she was paying more attention to dynamics and playing it more emotionaly. But it was very good

  • So much passion for the music in such a young person is breathtaking. What comes through to me in this performance is the pure serenity and goodness of the performer. She is obviously devoted to her craft. If she continues to remain this focused, she will surely become one of the world's great pianists. She will achieve great heights. Sad, we do not even know her name. But, in time, we will.

  • HOLY SHIT AND IM ALMOST HER AGE, I KNOW ONLY THE SPINNING SONG! SHIT!

  • @FunPuff1998

Lol, it is discouraging isn't it. Well I'm 21 and I'll be lucky to play half as good as her by the time I'm 50. Haha...

To the girl in the video:

Beautiful performance, you are very skilled, and at such a young age, I know you'll only get better too.

  • @FunPuff1998 haha cursing a lot of cursing for a 12 year old

  • @Dizahab2 When I was 10 I cursed more than I do now...

  • @Dizahab2 Its not a lot, considering the fact that when I was in 5th grade (3 years ago), there was barely a sentence that didn't have a word that would be considered... 'socially unacceptable. And that was at private school...'

  • excellent. very impressive. thank you.

  • i need the score of this song played, SOOOOOO BAADLY! please if somebody know where i can download it please send the link

  • @Powerboy777 imslp.org. It is the tchaikovsky transcription of his own nutcracker suite.

  • OMMFG that girl can play

  • What a beautiful song that you have play! I can just learn how to play from her and enjoy the best music from YouTube. You must be very proud of you playing such a difficult song!

  • She`s pretty :3 She looks more than12 years though..

  • your daughter is very talented!

Amazing!!! Beethoven should have loved it!!

  • Top this Alicia Keys!!

  • Is this Grainger's arrangement?

  • @kyouhunodaiou23 Grainger's arrangement makes flight of the bumblebee look like three blind mice.

  • 0:40 ~ to 0:59 holy shit ~~~

  • i totally love this! i'm currently lovin this now. mind if you let me know where can i get the scores for this? i would really appreciate it!

  • I wanna faint.coz it's damn gooooooooooooddddddddd

  • @iShaverdian oh riiiiiiiight, i was beginning to wonder

  • @iShaverdian, oh hush, that has nothing to do with the time or day, Mr/Mrs Ig.

  • she did ana excellent job

  • @TheFnastygirlz SHE DID ANA?!

  • Excellent! Very great performance! Do you have the music for that ? Thank you so much for your performance! I agree with golgicomplex, you managed to bring the colors of the orchestra and the different instrument. That is so great! Really!

    Carry on!

  • great :)

  • thats amazing :D i really am practicing hard so i can play like that im like 14 haha

  • I had to play this on piano in my music class (and i'm really only 12), and i basically can't match this skill. but i did okay... not

  • im not a piano player, but i love the sound of pianos

i only found one mistake 2:35 ish, i mean im not the one to judge since i cant even play :)

    great great work.

  • What is your young star's name?

  • should be faster

  • The kid is only 12 years old... It's already amazing that she can do this =3

  • it really shouldnt

  • may I have the sheet music of this?

  • Fabulous, five stars! Good solid technique and confident playing, definitely a strong performance.

She's at the point where she can work on bringing some of the orchestral colors through creative use of pedals, changing the way she attacks notes, &c... for example, really giving the opening cadenza the feeling of a harp strumming (maybe use una corda and half pedal?). She's got a great future ahead of her... keep it up!

  • Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's incredible! Tchaikovsky would be proud.

  • Itnice!!!

  • isn't like this piece... level 9 or 10? holy crap and she's 12!!! O_O kudos to your daughter...

  • That's really nice! I'm ready for Christmas and the Nutcracker!

  • AMAZING

  • thats a very difficult piece to play on the piano

  • shes 12?

  • Beautiful playing ! Five stars.

  • amazing, brought out the melody nicely throughout. captured the "long, short short" quite well. thought the 5th note from the end could be a little longer, for added effect. this shows it is an almost faultless performance.

  • Very well done !!

  • that's amazing!

  • i. am. amazed. she. is. incredible. sugoi!!

  • ツ makes a face

  • The girl rocks.

  • すごいですね~

    これからもがんばってネ!

  • I would love this on my ipod. Great job.

  • oh my word

    AMAZING

  • holy shit...that was effin crazy, if i could play half that well id be content

  • I really liked her rendition of this beautiful piece. She has nice technique and executes this difficult piece rather well, it isn't the easiest piece to play that's for sure. And for a 12 year old to play it so well is wonderful, I hope she keeps up the wonderful playing.

    Regards,

    ~Dan~

  • Lol I'm currently studying this piece and I realized this is the longest piece in the Nutcracker Suite,

    12 PAGES LONG.

  • beethoven would totally give her a high five after this.

  • @anilated2345678 Tchaikovsky is actually the composer...but yes HE would give her a high five

  • @anilated2345678 Why Beethoven? Why no Tchaikovsky, the person who wrote it?

  • @anilated2345678 and Tchaikovsky would be very proud of her as well :D

  • @anilated2345678 and how would Tchaikovsky respond?

  • @anilated2345678 tchaikovsky composed it. not beethoven

  • I was going through this piece in my sheet music and I noticed some parts cut short, but I will be using your daughter's performance as a model for playing this piece. Thanks and very, very well done!

  • very well done!!! I studied the same score...it's very dificult. Congratulations xD I would like to be in that concert, haha I love the piece.

  • very good playing

  • ilove this pieceis beatizul

  • Girls who plays well looks beautiful too.

  • that was amazing!!

  • I just started to learn this piece! It's beautiful and your daughter plays wonderfully! I was searching Youtube and doing some research on how to play it, and i am amazed she can play a piece this difficult at such a young age! Thanks for the interpretation of it!

  • THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!

  • from :40 to :58

    that looks difficult

  • Beethoven's father claimed Ludwig to be younger than he actually was to make it seem more impressive at his first performance, and poor Ludwig believed it throughout his life.

  • Good job. When I was 12, I was still in the beginning books and didnt really progress!

  • the cadenza was rushed. could use a bit of emotions.

  • this is awesome playing from a 12 yr old .wow

  • wuderful*****

    friedhelmrss

  • This is some really great playing but her teacher should remind her that though this is a rather aggresive piece it is also ballet. Ballet should always be approached smoothly unless tchaikovsky writes otherwise(such as writting out 7 f's in a row), and even then caution should be taken with being too agreesive.

  • Well, that is two different things, things can be loud, and not aggressive.

  • First of all...just because some one is asian doesnt make them chinese. Secondly, many other countries including the states boast a great number of child prodigees. Also, not every child prodigy is on you tube or tv. I've personally met a half dozen myself, none of which chose to take the path of publicizing themselves.

  • i think she's japanese ^^

  • Maybe a LITTLE BIT, and when I say little, I mean very small, smoother!!! Good dynamics!!! You understood the concept very well!!

  • it was good... but rather slow. the interpretation seems like she hasn't listened to the original before. But good job

  • The speed seems correct to me. Maybe you should look for a better recording to compare it to.

  • the comment was written before the piece ended. it was only the beginning that i found slow. the rest was fine.

  • Wow, your daughter is super !

My son Josh just won the third prize in our small town. I am very proud but seeing your daughter play .... She is now my son's new inspiration. Congrats again!

Is it possible to send me a copy of the music sheets, please (also on behalf of my son).

  • Absolutely amazing performance!

  • Oh wow! If I was there, I'd be cheering loudly at the end

  • Your daughter awesome. When I was her age I took piano and I sucked, seriously. *Sigh*

  • She's looks 15 (are you doing what Beethoven's father did?), but she's very good!

  • She is amazing!!! She inspires me to practice and play the piano a lot more! What a talented young lady!

  • Can I get the score to this too? THANKS UR AMAZING!!!

  • Hey just wondering. How many hours does she practice per day? I play piano, too, but I'm not that good and I'm 15 damn.

  • She's absolutely amazing!!! is there anyway i can get the scores for it? It has inspired me to play better for my piano.

  • I sent you a message.

  • 素敵な演奏ですね。

    この楽譜が欲しいのですが、どこの出版社のですか?

    確か全音の薄い本も有ったと思いますが後半はこんなアレンジでなかったような気がします。

    ぜひ教えて下さい。

  • Beautiful!!!added+

  • not 12 years old

  • I really like your interpretation. The piano version is very well written. I've been looking for such an adaptation. Could I know where did you get it? It is really important for me. Thank you very much. And keep up playing!

  • how you though about rolling the chords in the middle?

  • holy crap! she's 12? wtf??? how come i can't play that well?

  • soo good ! could I geet the sheets ? plz

  • I sent you a message. Please read it.

  • are you kidding me that was amazing for anyone!! i cant believe that one person is playing that!! brava!

  • That's very good for a twelve-year old girl.

  • Nice. Thanks.

  • "They." You refer to us as a "ONE". Not everyone in America "Beats, Rapes, and Murders one's own child."

  • Brilliantly played, by the way!

  • She's GREAT!

  • nice, very nice

  • very nice legs , o yeah and the music as well

  • After one year I still craze about your piano.

Especially in this holiday season my mom play

your video over and over again and I like to

sing along with it. You are really a good pianist.

  • Okay. I am in no way approving the comment made by dfdhndgdjhs, but I do think that your response is unfair. I do not believe that the comment was maliciously made, and even if it was, it is hypocritical of you to lash out with the same utter ignorance that you accused dfdhndgdjhs of. Sorry to butt in, but I had a few minutes between raping my son and beating my daugher, so I thought I'd add a little something.

  • Amazing! If I had half the talent playing the piano she has I'd be a very very happy person! Congratulations!

  • oooooh, this song remember me Bioshock

  • very good !

  • Dear Bill, I'm glad you think that comment is thoughtless. My daughter laughed at the false comment. And many kind comments including from you are encouraging to her. Thank you so much.

  • : it dosent sound like this when i play it :(

  • Goddaaaamn!!! She's fucking awesome!!! 5 stars!

  • her hands r like waves on the piano playing
