I love it that this guy works with long hair a lot, but this girls hair is the same texture as mine. A style this loosely defined will last about 3 minutes or as soon as she moves her head.

you're right!, gosh this is a tragedy, I experience this painful treatment once at a salon, total nightmare. I was hoping for something feminine when I read 'wind swept' but this is just ridiculous :( I dont know about others, but I dont think I can pull off this look, maybe other girls can I guess, I dont know.
