  • Dir en grey

  • who say atomic bomb doesnt cause insanity

  • Japan. The home of 98% of the world's weird shit...

  • My smile went away when that stupid blonde chick said "hapa"...

  • I've never been happier

  • Jimmy is so much skinnier now...

  • I'm so glad that even Americans like this.

This was originally a comedy, and it had a plot and no singing.

I think that comedy will make you happy even more.

There are several versions of it.

  • And this ends up on Japanese TV, natch. It's the circle of life,

  • I had no idea what they were singing about when I first saw them years ago but the song was so fun, upbeat, and catchy that I loved it anyway. Now that I've read the translation I love it even more. It's so peppy and cute. Yatta!

  • I Love this song, it has a clear message in it's hilarity. It tries to give us hope that the world can become a better place. All we have to do is change ourselves and the world can change with us. I think it's a piece of genius that it went so viral in it's time.

  • They should put Yatta on the next just dance game!!!!

  • They're not saying "Us Us Us Us" They're saying " Ossu Ossu Ossu Ossu " which is basically "hey hey hey hey".

  • These guys had fun and are fun to watch. This is a few years old, how are they doing now?

  • Its so eeeeeeaaasy!!!! HAPPI GO-O LUCKY!!!

    YATTAA!!!!!

  • YATTA!

  • A friend of mine danced this a few years ago!!

  • YATTA!!

  • I must admit, I lol'd at 3:18 when they do the little dance thing

  • @Eldinarcus They are using foriegn Letter's, and your computer doesnt have a Language pack so you cant read it, thus you see Boxes.

  • @Eldinarcus those are foreign characters. most likely Japanese.

    feel free to feel smart.

  • I've got a PSYCHO BEAR

    TWO ITCHY GUYS AH HAH!!!

    Great!

    HAPPA!!

  • this makes everyone happy

  • there kinda flat here in America. I think there trying to keep from laughing at us americans

  • ? dont u think its the other way around-that they're taking their crazy shtick so seriously and we're trying not to laigh to hard-lol

  • @andasideoffries dude theyre comedians. they arent even a real band. its a parody song

  • @mkilki I'd buy it, mister know-it-all.

  • It's pretty fun to find out what the lyrics are in English.

  • @AlbertWikowonkavitz Quote... even not all are perfect.

'all right' is quiete... right, but yatta is more like 'we did it'.

  • do the 'green leaves' make fun of something in particular?

  • @noudthe3rd I think the message is that even if you're down to nothing but a leaf to cover your crotch, you're still alive and that's something to be happy about. If they were an american group, they probably would have been wearing barrels to invoke a similar image.

  • This guys crack me up so fucking funny LOL

  • omg it's live :D!!!

  • I still like the official video

  • doesn't "yatta" translate to "I did it"?

  • yeah like saying "YAY" or like "yay i did it"

  • lyrics are brilliant!

  • I'd love to see them perform in New York. They seem very nice and full of energy-- it's very contagious too! lol

  • a perfect work out for the fat people lol

  • This makes me proud of being japanese! XD

  • I love how the girl at the end says it like it's so normal for them"nobody else dances with their clothes off!"

  • YATTA☆YATTA☆

  • World everybody should have found happiness to see a leaf corps^-^

  • haha, i loved the americans being japanese dubbed for a change!

  • Japan, you never fail me

  • the first time i see them not wearing diapers with a big leave lok :D

  • comedians made a better song than the 'boy bands' they're making fun of. yay japan! :D

  • THIS! you gotta love the humor...

  • so monty python finally made it to japan...

  • Can't be. These guys are funny.

  • I think he's referencing Monty Python's song "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" (search for it in YouTube).

BTW, Monty Python is sometimes hilarious...just, not all of it. Most of it is crap, I admit, but when they were good, they were really good.

  • I was just being a contentious troll. What sketches of theirs are funny?

  • Japanese humor and British humor? BLASPHEMY! lol

  • I'm British Japanese! I'm so proud :p

  • I think you meant 'Scottish Korean' since Scotch is an alcoholic drink

  • Yeah, I meant Scot Korean.

  • You're an alcoholic drink.

  • How do you know one of his parents wasn't a Scotch Bottle?

  • They're a comedy group, yes. I'd be pretty concerned if they were serious. XD

  • that guy at the end looked like a buff zach braff

  • at end

yeah freaking stupid americans, dancing with clothes on XD

  • there's a lot of men in the audience >_>

  • Well Jimmy Kimmel originally co-hosted The Man Show with Adam Carolla. His genre is kinda "guy-humor". Boobs, beer, and...boobs (and beer).

If you've never seen the man show, I recommend you check it out.

  • That show was awful, it tried way to hard to do a whole "LOLZ WE'RE SO SEXIST MANLINESS JUGS WOOO"

  • uh ok, but whats your happy song :D

  • i watched that...THE JUGGIES!!!

  • xD The subtibles are so wrong!..

  • Geez, they gave Kimmel just about the manliest sounding translator they could find, didn't they?

  • LMAO! I bet you Jimmy never had THAT MANY Asians in his audience! LMAO!! ^_^

  • hahaha this is halarious

  • sweet

  • Wow, Happa-tai or The Leave's group appered on American TV,Tnhey are all famous Japanese comedians, Yatta!

    by Mashi Oka

  • yatta is amazing.

It was the dream come true."

  • they're the best!

  • Wow. Jimmy Kimmel is now cool. :o

  • why wasn't he cool before then?

  • I kind of think his was a symbol of "average joe male" but I always thought he was a tool.

He and Adam Corolla was host of the Man Show (google it if you don't know it) and yeah. To much mindless testosteron. <.<; If he has enough security in his manhood to have those guys as guests that get gains +1 respect points in my book.

Still not much of fan though.

  • The man show was awesome, especially the man child.

  • I disagree. Look how terrified he was of joining in the dancing and fun. Almost homophobic. I award him no points here.

  • Well then, to the producers? *sigh*

  • An emcee is you

  • Nobody else dances without clothes... XD

Fucking warped, strange, senile sense of humor those Japs, but I love it.

  • Popular comedian is a little generous ; )

  • Lol

  • It;s funny how they actually had to SAY that.

  • there not saying us us us though, there saying osu osu osu that means yes yes yes, and there not saying who who who there saying woo woo woo. Sorry for the rant but i like correct translation.

  • Did he went to japan? CAuse all the audiences are asians?...

  • correct me if im wrong i think NBC aired this on US tv, but Jimmy Kimmel went to japan to do some work there.

  • Actually the show happened in Los Angeles but there's a lot of Japanese from Japan living in LA. They must have heard about the performance and got tickets to the show.

  • Where's Mr. Sparkle?

  • Wtf, Jimmy Kimmel "popular comedian"?? HA

  • what year was this?

  • odd, I remember this japanese TV show... not the episode, but I remember seing it on the international chnnel at random times

  • lol that was awesome

  • A nickle for every time I've heard english dubbed by those people :P

  • since when is Jimmy Kimmel a "popular comedian"

  • So, how hard did Jimmy Kimmel's Show suck?

So hard that he had to go to Japan to be famous!

    XD

  • lol 5:38 "nobady"

  • lol. Where was it broadcasted?

  • ...it's his show...

    Yeah...

  • i think he was refering the the guy out in the street, not jimmy kimmel

  • Hmmm, you're probably right.

I think I tuned out after they went out to the street :D.

    Still, eh.

  • HAhahah! YATTA!!!!
