Now for those who like carwashes, check out the scene at 3:20. A bus wash.ride. The ride last about 34 seconds, but it's kind of neat to see how a public bus gets cleaned. Also seen at 2:20 and lasting for only about 12 seconds is how the bus gets cleaned out.

Three buses that serve two elevator sales offices operate out of this bus barn. The #70 which serves Schindler Elevator, the #91 and the #94 serves the Kone sales office in Olivette. MetroBus route #13 also operates out of this garage.

Metro keeps track of a bus by computer and they can easily can track how many compalints they have on file on that particular bus. Jim Kircherr stated "This is also where driver reports any problems along his/her shift at 4:12. Now if the problem continues, I jump in with my abassador talent, and make a complaint. And then the mechanic who neglected it gets in trouble and the problem with the bus also gets fixed.

ThePC seen at 6:06 is designed to track buses and recieve emails. As an ambassor, once I call in or email on a bus such as a defect (eventough the bus driver writes up the defect as well) seen on a defect card at 4:20, and the email gets displayed on one screen and the other screen can track that bus.

They were bought many, many times. The 9600s were built in 1995. Once the year 2000 rolled around, we bought scores and scores of them! The 3400s are the last Phantoms bought by Metro. All the new buses that are built by Gillig will all be the Advantage models which are low-floor.

My father was a Public Service streetcar motorman. In the 1940s I would go with him to what is now the Debalivere Garage but what was then the Delmar car streetcar barn and yards. In the building still at Delmar and DeBalivere the motorman would dress upstairs, then go down to this gigantic room to get their blocks of transfers and all else but boarding their streetcars, sometimes from the yard and sometimes replacing someone else on a route. A very magic, convivial place, just a memory now.

Here in this video, you also see some TOD (Transit Oriented Development) no-nos. They have the farebox station towards the garage door. Someone can easily walk in and snatch the box at gun or knifepoint. The other is that the fareobxes aren't getting cleaned out inside. The fairbox station should hidden from the public and your fareboxes should be vacuumed out so that all the parts works properly.
