  • parece que ta saindo amaciante da torneira

  • It's blue milk.

  • If anything, it looks like liquid fabric softener.

  • ΠΟΥ ΣΑΙ ΡΕ ΑΝΤΡΕΑ!!

  • tutorial?

  • This is beautiful, a bit fast though :)

  • Blue Yogurt

  • 0:10 OVERFLOOOOOW!!! D:

  • Kinda looks like fine foam

  • It looks more like blue milk than yogurt!

  • Definitally behaves like water. Water is actually quite blobby.

  • If it had water materials, it would be sooooo realistic.

  • looks like yogurt :3

  • how to stop water generation in real flow 5?

  • the water was jumping in the cup, was that due to the video being sped up, or was there a problem

  • hey i need help i also got realflow but im a noob at it how do i make the Emitter stop emitting particles and resume emitting them again?

  • "Don't Drink This"

  • @klln4mny you watch Will It Blend?

  • @realflow100 Yes I do...sometimes :P

  • its a milky substance ^^ BUT if youtube would have kept that star rating system i would have given you a 5 ;)

  • Its that stuff the Skywalkers drink on A New Hope!!

  • Wow. Really nice.

  • Quick question, how do you start/stop an emitter in RealFlow?

    Do you use keyframes?

I'm very new to this program, and an answer (by anyone) would be greatly appericated.

  • @logitech4873 you can use keyframes or just stop the simulation and change the value of the emmiters speed to 0 and start simulating again then when you want particles stop the sim and change it to what it was before you set it to 0 then start the sim up again yes you can use different values each time you stop and start but don't go too high or things will explode

  • @realflow100

I've figured it out by now. But thaks anyway.

  • IS that GOO?? lol

  • Thats a nice one.

The only problem i see here, is that the paint doesn't stick to the surface.

  • Looks like paint, shouldnt it be water?

  • @justinduyn no, I just played around a bit, wanted a cool looking material with SSS.

  • Fantastic! Now I know what molten boron poured into a Teflon glass in Venusian gravity actually looks like. Cool!

  • why arent u cleaning it

  • Muito Legal

  • stupid realflow mesh, doesnt know that there is glas between it and the particles in the glas... 0:16

  • fuckin' bounce! thats why it sucks...

  • @tyconcept Salta kai gamisou!

  • man this stuff is so sick, i need to learn realflow soon too, it looks like some complicated shit :P

btw how can one set it up so wen the water hits the surface it leaves some sort of stain? like it makes the surface wet or changes its colour and specularity in some way

  • if you can't figure out how to download this plug in don't bother asking. The skills required to use this software heavily out weigh the skills needed to download a torrent. leave it to the pro's kiddies. otherwise try the demo from their site... if you can find it

  • Hahah, a harsh but funny comment.

  • haha yeh it shits me. I lost a freelance job last year to some young kid because he said he had experience with fluids. he ended up screwing up the job and i was called in after to fix his mess...just because you have downloaded a plug in doesn't make you a pro in that field...people who keep asking "where can i find this" or "how do I do that"? its all wanna bes who are flooding the industry. I've taken years to get where I am ya know.. anyways its all good :P

  • @pennyshill absolutely, you got that right! but how do you think the kids are getting their experiences? right, buy playing around like here.... so let them play, they'll be pros soon enough...

  • @pennyshill

    True

  • WHERe can i download that?

  • animation prog cannot be downloaded. It is very costly.

  • Nah, got it for free.

  • then why does this guy have it? whats the point?

  • is this a program? if so, where do you buy/download it?

    and does it cost?

    how much?

  • couple thousand, if you have a student discount you can get it at a good price

  • im not sure what prog that guy used but i use maxon 4d. it is a real popular and realistic prog, costly indeed. 500 plus sing if i didnt rmb wrongly.

  • can i have a lil to paintmy room? pliz

  • oraios o argirakis.....

  • Its all good BUT,

what the hell is that punching that happens at the end?

I've seen that in a lot of reel flow demos and if u wanna do something that is gonna be screened anywhere how can you avoid that bouncing of the water because it looks very silly?

  • i think that it's a good effect, doesnt seem silly to me

  • I find that it's really not easy to achieve a realistic looking liquid with Realflow. Most of the time, it looks like some sort of gel or pudding.

Realflow doesn't seem to simulate adhesion of the liquid to the container, either, so the container's surface always looks super hydrophobic.

Plus, the liquid often jumps up and down like crazy (like at the end of this vid).

Great app, but still much room to improve.

  • That should probably read "much room for improvement", sry. English isn't my 1st language.

  • Actually, it all has to do with what settings you use. This was obviously used at a high enough resolution to get the detail, but it seems he made his liquid a bit too viscous. As for the objects surface being too hydrophobic, there is a setting to make the water move over the surface with more friction, I just don't think this video implemented it.

  • that looks so real! thats sweet!

  • Damn!!!... Awesome!!!...

    I´ll try it...

How much "particle process" time did that take?

  • skeet skeet.

  • acts like milk, verry good!

  • It kinda acts like milk, but you surface tension is too high.

  • how were you able to get the liquid to splash over the edge of the cup in a sheet, as opposed to in clumps?

  • As I wrote, you have to make a mesh out of it in Realflow. Forget about particls in Maya, this has nothing to do with those.

  • How do you set up a shader network for it? What did you use? I have an animation in maya all ready to go, but it's just particles bounded by a green box and it won't render. I've tried a bunch of materials - even lGlass!

  • I used the Fast_SSS_Shader. And the particles are not particles in Maya. They was converted to a mesh in Realflow, and that mesh was imported into Maya.

  • Thanks for the reply. I don't have SSS, but I can't even see anything with any shader... there are just points in the Maya viewport window and all shaders I try just render black. Is there something specific you have to do to turn 'points' into a more 'fluid' texture, or has that already happened with the mesh?

  • AH - I answered my own question. Yes, you have to export a mesh, not the particles. For anyone reading this - you do this in realflow - there is a 'create mesh' button. Then go to the mesh folder, and import the .bin mesh files into Maya with the 'realflow' menu item. If you can't see this menu - you didn't install the plugins correctly to Maya ;-)

    Thanks for your your help!

  • why did u render it?

did u stop particle bouncing at the end?

  • Look great until the end at the top of the cup. ;o 5/5

  • just great!! bravou..
