The first thing that one needs to do is get in shape. Drew, and Greg need to get in shape before doing anything else, especially preaching survival. I dont care how much food you have. How much ammo you have, etc. If you are not in top physical form it does not matter, you will die. That is why any Soldier goes through boot camp FIRST before anything else. If you are not in top physical form, you cannot fight, much less protect your family or anyone else.

@rea1001sorry, but that is a stupid comment. someone with a stock pile of food, guns, ammo, and a secure home is in pretty good shape already. I really don't care how "in shape" you are, you're not bullet proof. in the face of overwhelming odds, even Hercules is gonna be in trouble.

@pherronii Taticaly, barigading oneself in their house is sucide, expecially if one is in the city. Being mobile, and getting out into the Countryside. Marching at least 100 miles uneffected is a requirement. Fieldcraft as well, but one cannot do anything unless their body can cope, and sustain itself. Seige warfare has proven these things many years ago. Under Cable Splicer, and REX 84, and exutive orders, they will take control of everything in the cities, and lock them down.

@rea1001 when I was a kid, the grandma at the corner store was robbed at gun point, the fella was in "good shape", but when he put his shotgun on the counter to grab the cash outta the register she pulled her snub nose 38 from under the counter and drilled him six times. He did die, and she was in piss poor shape, in her 70's. How do explain this?
