Many classically trained "violinists" forget that there are no rules for the traditional fiddler. One may hold the fiddle this way or that, use sounds that would be wrong in classical music to put emphasis on rythmic patterns. The traditional fiddle is its own instrument.  I liked what heard.

I've been watching violin videos for the last hour and what is the deal with these smug dicks. I guess that's what happens when you focus your listening on the great composers- sure perfection is a beautiful thing. However, what about the beauty of improvising and personality imperfection can bring to music. Honestly there is not reason to be a dick about someones playing of an instrument, I enjoyed it.

@charlesclem hahahahaha your sarcastic answers make this video just worth it! xD Try to control your right arm, you are swinging it, remember to use the elbow not your shoulder, also you separate the fingers to much from the diapason while playing and stroke the bow between the diapason and the bridge. The false notes will go away by listening a lot of clasical music and practicing! Keep it up! :)

horrible to be honest but i understood what you were going for, lots of bum notes though, although to be fair its very hard to get everything exactly in on a violin, the guitar is a screwed up instrument intonation wise and a violin even more so :D you did much better than i could, or maybe i just don't appreciate it or something, meh!

I play the violin too.. but I hear that you play sometimes not so clear.. maybe its better to play it once a bit slower so that you can maybe hear it too and make it better;).. than you can play it faster if its slowly good too.. and I think that the sound wil be better if you dont press that hard with your bow on your violin..

I think it would be nicer if you can do this;).. but only if you want that off course..
