I honestly think that Chris Brown was sincere because he's done many tributes to Michael Jackson (r.i.p) over the last few years. There are actually a few videos on here of some of the performances like "Thriller", which he did at the World Music Awards in 2006.

@TexuusBoy there are many dancers that can do moves just like michael jackson. for instance, all the people dancing with chris brown on stage at the performance we're talking about. chris brown is a good dancer/singer, but he's not going to replace michael jackson. how many times do you think he had to rehearse tonight's performance? and he suddenly just breaks down and cries during the televised one, when MJ's been dead a year? notice he didn't cry and mess up his dance steps.

2nd of all: The dancers that performed "smooth criminal", were the Jabbawockeez. and they can dance like mike but can't perform or sing like mike that's why they picked chris brown to do it
3rd of all: Yea he rehearsed it but notice did he have a crowd watching him??? NO! Being dead for a year doesn't mean you can't cry for somebody.

and when "Man in the mirror" came on, i can understand that he got emotional knowing that his number 1 idol is gone.
rehearsal is easy to do. why would he wanna cry during rehearsal??? but when you get out in front of thousand of people its wayyyyyy different than rehearsal. and he felt energy from the crowd and despite how long MJ has past away doesn't mean he can't break down and cry for his idol

When everybody counted him out and stop believeing in him just as they did Michael he felt that in his soul! It brought him to tears!! Maybe Chris was able to relate to the lyrics of those songs which brought such a heartfelt performance

the performance was hot, i forgave chris a long time ago. he is being punished by the law already so i don't know why people are still pressed. He made a mistake and apologized, he deserves a 2nd chance. Everyone knows he loves MJ, he's said it since day one so i'm so glad he got to pay tribute to him. When he strated crying i actually cried with him and i'm not even much of a chris fan.

I'm not going to front I cried to but that was when the instrumental of Man In The Mirror started along with the slideshow of the people in haiti and the animals from the Gulf oil Spill. Chris Brown crying once he began to sing just took me into full water works. Any true Michael Jackson fan would have been able to share that moment with him unless of course they don't get choked up that easy or don't like to mess up their make up.

I honestly think that Chris Brown was sincere because he's done many tributes to Michael Jackson (r.i.p) over the last few years. There are actually a few videos on here of some of the performances like "Thriller", which he did at the World Music Awards in 2006.

@chelisemel I agree. It was sincere to me and I have also seen Michael Jackson tributes he has done in the past. With all the Tribute's after Michael Jackson's death not one did you see Chris Brown so I think it was his chance.
