To whom it concers bout this ... the people that did this were caught... and the safe was never touched....they employee and friend that did it was extremly drunk... give props to the haltom city fire department for finding out who did it lol... they are good... dont help when the person that did it told everyone .. lol
i used to manage that arbys and just to let every one know the building was not up to code in the first place and through the grapevine i have been told it was an employee who set the fire and stole the safe contents as well
sorry every body i loved workin there that building was like a monument for haltom city
its been decided that they wont rebuild this store. theyre writing it off as a loss, and moving on. it really sucks, cause i think this store was there in 1984 when my family first moved to haltom city. its just fortunate that it happened in the middle of the night and there were no injuries involved.
We provide mutual aid to Haltom City, and they to us. One big 'ol happy family. The night this came in, we were out working a small house fire not to far away. Once we started smellin them Arby burgers we were STARVIN!!!! Thank God that noone was hurt.
We All go home in the morning! Good Job, boys. E-222
The cause of this fire was determined to be arson set by an employee from that Arby's. Many other fires from previous places the employee worked are also being linked to him.
was the beef in the cooler cooked after this??....i have worked for an arbys for 7 plus years...i am a manager and i wonder if they kept the beef...cheap bastards.
if that happend at the arbys i worked at i wouldnt be too upset, the management at the one i work at is god awful, and the regional manager is a major douche, plus arbys marketing strategy sucks, they make sandwhiches for next to nothing (30 cents for one regular) and than sell them for ridiculously high prices and than wonder why no one eats there, whats worse is they blame the employees saying that we arent polite enough, be as polite as you want, but i wouldnt pay 2.79 for a tiny sandwhich
Just an FYI, the team at 206 Belknap was not terminated due to the fire. They have been sent to other stores in the area. As far as we can guess, they will probably not be rebuilding this location.
So is 206 the store number, as in the 206 Arby's after store #1? That is then a piece of Arby's history gone. They already removed this location from their web page. The Hurst store shows as #196, it has the same original sign.
I do hope they rebuild, but if not there are others people can go to in the area.
I do not, I just shoot the video and let the reporters check into that. I was there during the fire and did not go back for the clean up and investigation. My best guess is a fire in the cooking venting system as it was reported as a fire in the roof. I would check the Star Telegram to see if they did a story about it.
I have not been by there since the fire, but I am sure it is all boarded up now. Sad because the Deputy Chief said that it has been there for decades and maybe one of the first few ones in the Metroplex. I hope they rebuild and keep the original sign. The one in Hurst has the same sign too.
haha I know exactly who did this..Funny shit!!!

Any information on a cause of the fire?
