Yeah, agreed. Never ever talk to a girls friend about your feelings for her. Not only does it make you look like a douche it's also not the most confident way to approach the situation. The fact of the matter is it's hard to tell someone how you feel about them. I'm in the middle of a situation right now and for the first time in my life I can definitely say I'm in love. i told my best friend (and by best friend I mean we are stupidly close, talk all the time) i loved her and she said she didn't feel the same way, but now we have talked about it we are still as close as before, but that's just making it impossible to get over her, but not seeing her is out of the question because i'd miss her too much. @JaysEpiphany Man, I have the same problem. I became quite close with my best friend but then suddenly she pulled the brake and it went back to where it was before. The problem is I can't just walk away and I need to see her, but that also hurts. And it's lasting a year a I still can't get over it. I just have the hope and I admit that I am too stubborn, that I can somehow change the way she feels about me. Hope you'll have your luck on your problem too. I know how it feels.

This is why theres the age old debate about if she doesnt feel the same it'll be weird and never the same or blah blah blah...This subject is a complete gamble!! But you have to ask yourself, "Would i rather take a chance at being happy for the rest of my life with the girl im crazy for?" or "would i rather not take the chance because im scared of how i will feel for the next few months to come if she doesnt like me back.."

i was the one who never did anything about it, lost him and it still hurts. I never knew how to move it forward and now we go to different schools and never talk anymore. @JaysEpiphany Man, I have the same problem. I became quite close with my best friend but then suddenly she pulled the brake and it went back to where it was before. The problem is I can't just walk away and I need to see her, but that also hurts. And it's lasting a year a I still can't get over it. I just have the hope and I admit that I am too stubborn, that I can somehow change the way she feels about me. Hope you'll have your luck on your problem too. I know how it feels.

This is why theres the age old debate about if she doesnt feel the same it'll be weird and never the same or blah blah blah...This subject is a complete gamble!! But you have to ask yourself, "Would i rather take a chance at being happy for the rest of my life with the girl im crazy for?" or "would i rather not take the chance because im scared of how i will feel for the next few months to come if she doesnt like me back.."

Often best to establish how you feel in the beginning. Love and attraction is like threads tying into a knot and the longer you wait, the deeper your feelings get and its harder for you to loosen up. You feel she is the only one for you and it's not true. If she doesn't feel the same, she isn't for you at all. If you've already gone too far, best to just say how you feel but first say that you don't want things getting weird afterwards. Hard sometimes, may lose a friend, but its best to move on.

i was the one who never did anything about it, lost him and it still hurts. I never knew how to move it forward and now we go to different schools and never talk anymore. I always though it would "just happen," but it never did. It didn't help that he got HOT and then there were a bunch of girls (including some of my friends) after him. One girl actually became my "friend" to "steal" him from me cuz ppl thought we were dating, cuz we hung out so much, I really wished i had at least told him.

In my opinion, you can never completely hide your emotions from someone you love. Eventually, it'll either be a total failure or total success. Although, if they love you back then they probably want you to say it if you love them. tl;dr= he/she'll find out anyways, just tell 'em and take your chances

haha that situation is really fucked up.I know coz i was in that. I liked her, infact loved her. but didnt tell her. during our random conversations she is like i like this guy named__fucked up thing was,it was the same as my name :O so i was like i like i think i like you too!!but then she said to me its not me!...aww! yeah it broke my heart..but i worked my way back and moved on..now, me and her are back again (as best friends of course) and I fucked up that other guy's change too.(I am sorry)

I have this great friend that is really close to me, but some days ago he started to act really sweet and caring towards me, and i told my bstfriend to ask him if he liked me, and he told her that he was going to break up with his girlfriend because he was in love with me. I think i like him, but i don't know what to do because then when we break up nothing will be the same!

Ugh I'm that situation, I like a really good guy friend of me and I can't say anything! I mean even before we were randomly talking about relationahips and he was like "If you ever like me, never tell me" becuase he didn't want to mees up our relationahip. That was before I liked him. It's really weird.
