  • Lovely work, I like the depth of the silver pieces. The reflections are wonderful.

  • I would really like to see you make this into a full length DVD for sale, so we can see a complete start to finish painting. I really like your work.

  • I love that you explain the colors, as you finish the watercolor painting. It goes without saying, you are spectacular in your art and a very good teacher. Learned a lot from this, thank you. Im just starting watercoloring, so this is really so helpful.

    Muchas gracias.

  • Incredible! Amazing to see the progression.

  • amazing

  • What a beautiful painting. I love it.

  • Simply beautiful. You are inspiring to watch. Thanks for explaining the process. It helps me tremendously.

  • Hi...lori you are inspirational...love your work...i am still studying tones as you suggested but can you post something up with silver or gold and how to blend the colors well? I have used only oils and my skills with water colors are very limited..Thanks!!

  • I'm extremely new to watercolours, and this video demo is very inspiring and informative. Thank you.

  • i don't know who didn't vote this 5 stars, but they need their head examined. Your technique is incredible!! Watercolour is the area where i struggle the most, but i really want to improve at it. Very inspiring!

  • I'm sorry to have insulted you? But I clicked on your channel and that is what you said your name was, ??? I'm sorry maybe I am mistaken. I think and believe all art can be needed to approach with some patience. it's when it starts to just flow that we become angels, and the art just flows, no? Or I guess it could just be a mind set. nonetheless, I didn't mean to call you someone other than what was stated on your channel.. So? What is your name? Would love to see some of your art?

  • Martin - Thank you so much, I have more that I hope you'll appreciate. :) Warmest Warmest Regards, :)

    Lori

Your step by step instruction video's are very helpful!

  • Thank you for the video. I am trying to learn to watercolor. I appreciate the time and your sharing your talent. Pattsy

  • Pattsy, Your welcome, and I am an instructor, if you have any questions, message me, and I'd be more than happy to help, I also teach classes if your in the San Diego area. Whatever you do, if your in the beginning stages of learning to watercolor, don't get disappointed, watercolor can be a very FREEING medium, but many get impatient or discusted with it. Best regards, laartgallery dot blogspot dot com

Go here for more demos.. Just put in an actual . versus the word dot.

Deb, Beverly, and KRkeene. - Thanks so much.

  • Fascinating to watch!

  • Fantastic! Very clear demonstration. Beautiful painting!

  • BRILLIANT !!!!!!!!!

  • I certainly remember this one!...very interesting to hear your about your process and explanations re color choices, etc. I really go for those warm golden highlights with the cool palette. It's a great painting, almost as beautiful as the artist...don't be shy, I think people would like to connect the work with a face. Awesome demo! Nick

  • Excellenct demo Lori...it may even prompt me to leave my acrylics alone(just for a while..lol) and try watercolors again.

    Joyce

  • Beautiful and masterful. This one has also been linked to my "BLACKBOARD" for students.

Lori, thanks so much for sharing these time lapsed images. I love to see process and this one is amazing for that. Trying to get students to see negative space FIRST is often like pulling teeth. Here, if I count the tiles as negative, everyone can watch the daisies just come to life as the ground is painted around them.

Again, thanks so much. Adrienne aka ambercolumbia and galleryvim

  • Adrienne, Thanks so much, glad to be of help to your students. Could you post the web addy here?

  • Dustie - Thank you so much for your compliment. :) and glad to see you inspired. :)

  • Oh John, so happy to see you here. Everyone pls visit his website, A GREAT mentor and teacher to me. :)

  • Great finish Lori, and it was nice to hear your voice.

    John Fisher (Watercolour lover)

  • JJ Thank you, as I am a big fan of your work. :)

  • Thanks Erika, I unfortunately forgot to do the fade in and fade out, amongst many other things. LOL
