Fking awesome. Music is spot on. 2 guys bought my landy for this trip a few years back. I was gifted a 91 Micra recently and I now realise why people sing its praises. What an experience that trip must have been.

We spent £2000 each during the trip then you've got the cars, visas and kit to buy before you set off. So it's not cheap, but it's worth it!

How long did it take you in the end? Any major breakdowns? Get shot at/mugged? I'm doing it this year - we have an ancient automatic micra and a subaru minivan. Money on the micra? Good vid.

They're both fine vehicles! Take a spare pair of front and rear suspension springs for each vehicle and get bash plates under the fuel tanks. And don't drive thru deep rivers in the van cus the engine's under the floor

Get your car plenty of time before and use it loads to uncover any faults. And get a Micra. They're by far the best.

awsome video guys, i especially like the bit of me and joe driving up the hill at the mongolian border, id totally forgotten about that. its a pity our video camera got stolen by some mongolians we would have had some quality footage. It really makes me want to do it next year.
