my hair is super long and curly, but alway and forever frizzy, but is thick and it gets greasy, do you have any tips on how i can get it to not be a compleate mess? and btw I love ur cardingan!
This is great. I have the same type of hair. The only thing I do different is I use a gel on the ends and the roots for weight and I use cold air, cause i get way too hot from otherwise. The one think I think you cannot do this look with out is a mousse with conditioner in it. It makes all the difference. Salon Selective used to have a great product for curls...i can't recall the name though.
Are you sure these products don't make nasty or crunchy with flyways, frizzness all over. Do they work if I use the curling iron. I have straight hair and when I use the curling iron the curls do not stay.
No. Actually you can buy them with the blow drying as a combo for maybe 15-20 bucks. Like regular dryers. Trust me I go through those things like crazy!! Thanks for the comments!
yes it is, but if I don't diffuse it I won't get as much volume on top. Its like straight haired girls who flat iron their hair?! Its just to seal the deal! lol
I bought it at CVS in the professional hair care section. I know CVS sells higher end hair products so you can get it there. I don't know about the other drugstores though! :)
this helped alot i just bought a diffuser and like lauren i dont knoe what the hell im doing with it. my hair is naturally curly and veryyyy long and i bought some of that curl stuff in the yellow bottle and it made my hair really soft i love it!
the mousse helps hold the curl in place. If you only used the shine serum then the curls would be soft, but they would frizz because they are trying to absorb the moisture from the air. Mousse and the curl spray help seal the cuticle.
lol i said Dominican. The product is called Smooth'n Shine: Polishing Instant Repair Extra Strength Instant Repair Polisher. You can find it in the ethnic hair care section at drugstores/walmart
I'm definitely gonna buy that Mark Anthony hair spray you used. And you were absolutely right about the scrunching while diffusing, it makes my hair so frizzy!! this video was very helpful.
It looks very nice. I do not know how long it normally takes you to dry your hair, I use T3 tourmaline blow dryer and it dries my hair in half the time my hair is long and it used to take me about 15 minutes, it now takes me a short 7-8 minutes. This dryer has negative Ions so it is less damaging to your hair plus it gives it a nice shine, I also use the curling iron and straightner and I LOVE IT. just and FYI...
o really?!?! I always wondered if those types of dryers worked. It takes me about 15-20 minutes also to completely dry it so I think I should try that. Thanks!!
The whole time i was watching this i kept going, yea thats how i do it, mhm, just like that. Your hair is very pretty. And im glad I'm not the only one that uses this technique. All my friends laugh at me when I do this, but it really works.
thanks so much!! it does get this curly but not this volumized. Kind of like girls with straight hair still straighten their hair to make it super straight... I diffuse it to make it even more curly!! :)
You help me as well because I just bought a Conair blow dryer. It came with all these pieces and I'm like what is this. What happened to the dryer and the one attachment which was the comb...lol. But thanks cause I was gonna google it.
oh my gosh.....that helps SOOO much!! I definitely need to invest in that aussie conditioner and the strictly curls stuff. I t really helped define the curl. Thanks so much for this and showing how to work with the diffuser!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole time I was watching I was going, "ooohhh, that's how...ohhhh okay, oohhh..." hahah thanks SO much for the tips!
you know what's funny? I have all these products but never thought to use them like this.... thanks for this video!!!! (: :D

This is so much easier for you because you have curly hair.... but for someone like me its harder cause i have naturally straight hair.

#1 Learn correct grammar and spelling before trying to insult someone's taste.
#2 Don't try to act hard with the keyboard. It just makes you look lame.

why is the mousse necessary? i've always wondered that! lol
