It's the real thing. Iron Man 2 Agent Colsen asks what "this" was doing here then handed it to Stark. Stark uses it to level his laser beam set-up. Thor's hammer is in the end of Iron Man 2. Just like Nick Fury paying cameo at the end, Thor's hammer did. Iron Man 2 is a must see for SHIELD, avengers, iron man, and war machine fans.

The only reason why Nick Fury is black and bald here is because they went with the Ultimate Avengers (ie. Ultimate Galactus...Gah Lak Tus) and not the traditional Avengers from the 1960s. The Ultimates (2000s) were put together by Nick Fury, where the Original Avengers (1960s) were put together by Loki by accident when he tricked Thor into battle with the Hulk. When Thor and Hulk fought, Iron Man, Wasp and Giant Man arrived, hence the original Avengers. Cap. America isn't an original Avenger.
