World War II was the biggest thing to happen 60 million lives were lost. There are no "Good or evil" sides to war. Once it has started both sides constantly fight, killing civies. WWII, Cold War, Iraq/Afghanistan happened all for stupid reasons. God can't stop war only the leaders of the countries can. Together. God bless

@TheMan36027 WW2 was not started for a stupid reason Hitler was gradually taking over europe and once he had secured the sudetenland and remilitarised the Rhineland everybody knew his promises where false and he was striving for domination of europe. Once somebody starts to do such a thing they must be stopped and war was the only way it was prevented from 1935-39 so dont ever say it was a stupid reason it was perfectly justified

Dropping the Bombs saved millions of American and Japanese lives that would have been wasted in an invasion of Japan. Blame Japan's leaders for initiating the War and for not ending it when it was clear they had been defeated.

@BigTed5 Actually, Japan surrendered before the atomic bomb was dropped. The war was over before but the emperor refused to resign so therefore they dropped it. It was more of a cockwave from americas part just to show how big their dick was

@Siouxeety but this stopped the war...sure no one wanted it to go this far but it was the last option and the only thing we could do at that point..it was the right thing to do unless we wanted the war to go on for who knows how much longer

Truly a tragedy but nothing compared to the loss of life on both sides if we had invaded mainland Japan. Incredibly powerful video. War sucks and should not be used except as a last resort.

Another reason for Japan's surrender was the fact that Russia declared war against Japan at the end of the war... This was a much greater threat for Japan than USA...
