When you had the cards at the start, there was a bit of a pace, and that's where the 9 of diamonds was. At the end, you had two cards. You put the two of them on the deck, and took the 9 off of the back! I win? You also were able to pick where the 9 of diamonds was when shuffiling(spelling) :3.

@LPFNRULE Actually he didn't. He put both cards, the 8 and 9, back on top of the deck, then took the 9 (which was ofc still on top) and slid it in sideways. The 8 is now on the top again.

Still a good trick though. Do it a bit quicker and people won't notice what happened. Or just do it at parties where people are already too drunk to keep up. ^^

@ 0:08 he puts the card down, picks it up and shows the camera, and then puts it back down on the carpet facing the opposite direction. I used to own a trick deck where the top of the cards would be slightly less wide than the bottom, making them trapezoidal shaped instead of rectangular. Once the card is turned around, all one needs to do to retrieve it is run their fingers lengthwise along the deck. The card's protruding width at the wrong end will stick out.

How he does the trick: He picks out a card. He puts a bend in the card so it stands out when the deck is turned on the side. He cuts the deck to the card, so it is on top. He then does the fake shuffle twice keeping the card on top. When he does the normal shuffle, he releases the half of the deck with the card (which is on top) last so that the card is still on top. Then grabs 2 cards off the top of the deck, only showing the 2nd card. Puts those back, and then he reveals the top card...

you pull two cards, also a small layer of something like salt in your deck makes sure u can always find the card u placed in

First, you make sure the right card is always on top or bottom, even when shuffling. When you pull the "card" from the top to show it, you actually pull 2 cards. When you pull that top card off to slide it through the middle and make it "change", you actually pull only the top card, which is the right card. I think that makes sense, anyway.

(I forget the actual adjective) deck! basicly all the cards are slightly cone shaped, so if you turn one around it stands out if you run your hand along the side of the deck and you can feel it. With all facing the same way at the start, you can shuffle all you want, and it'll [6/9 of diamonds, idk] still be the only one turned around.

7: Shuffle traditionally, but using card control to not let the top leave the top. (staggered shuffle).

8: Grab 2 cards as one card, show the bottom card (Incorrect card).

9: Grab top card, do some time delay sliding in the deck.

10: Fancy reveal.

what u did while doing the bad shuffling ive got no idea :P but the last part showing the 8. that trick is quite easy your holding 2 cards at the same time and the 9 is at bottom. But the main trick was that the card u had in middle allways stayed either bottom or top while shuffling and ending up on top so that you can lift 2 cards, trick and show the actual top card after doing the "come fort good old 9". correct me if im wrong :P

in the beginning, its all about knowing where the card is, and when you are using "magic" to make that 8 to the real card is: you have the cars at the top of the deck, then you is TAKING 2 CARDS so that we just see one of them, in this case the 8, then you put it back on the top of the deck, and since the 8 were shown to us, it will be the SECOND from the top.. so when you take it up again, you are holding the real card. (with real card i mean the card that you are showing us in the beginning"8)

The cards are TAPERED (you flip 1 card so its facing the other way in the deck and you can always find it by feeling) which is how you keep track of the 9 OF DIAMONDS. When you show us the 8 there are 2 cards 9 is the real top card. Then you do your Prestige - which is making us believe you turned the 8 into the 9.
