she´s the most extraordinary singer in the world and being italian you´ve got to understand how demonstrative they are; second, and most important, she has big hands and people with that characteristics are giving kind of persons

Only a few of them mean anything in Italian. She was one of the first Italian singers to use any gestures or movement on TV, besides Domenico Modugno. So she probably goes a little crazy to stand out and keep the crowd interested.
