hater here! there are some parts that just dont sound nice. like for eg at 3:03-04 its supposed to be a double stroke on the snare, 1:31-32 u hit the cymbal late, same for at 2:02 and 2:08. from 1:31-40 the bass drum rhythm isnt correct, even after u tried to get it right. very nice cover though..just constructive criticism!
how many mics are you using and what kind of mics? i guess it's a 3 mic recording (snare, bass and overhead) but the sound is great and i wanted a confirmation :) and just another thing...the sound of the bass drum is awesome but sometimes it seems doubled..like vary fast double strokes like from 0:26 to 0:30 and i wonder why it sounds like that :) btw really nice cover!! and sorry for bad speaking (i'm italian)XD
killer bass at 2:02 man ! .....there are only a few people who put effort into good recording at home....im somewhat in the middle....i have an electronic kit and just run a cable (with a volume reducer knob set to 10%) from the headphone out socket of my drum module to the mic-input jack of the camcorder...as u can imagine its EASY...one step recording of audio and video...but its doesnt sound as good as you or cobuses recordings...
@quadbassblaster ....but ofcourse a million times better than some youtube flooders with their camera phones and rusted broken kits...lol !!! check out my vids too man....i like my snare sound only sometimes....i think it came out good in the pcd buttons video...other times it sounds too thin and sharp.
Not bad technique all round. i dont love your cymbals (to bright and resonant for my taste, i like quicker decay) but they'll work. Could you telll me step by step how you recorded these latest vids though? great sound quality
if you're digging the aussie bands hit up some of the red shore, a fallen theory, three faces west, widow the sea and my old band corpses bleed all have/had excellent drummers!
first of all: I thank you so much for your positive comments and ratings! Really means a lot to me! But to your question, I am actually learning all these songs by hearing them. And somehow it's not very difficult for me. I don't know.....I just hear songs and know what the drummer is playing! That's pretty crazy, isnt it? ;)

At 2:16 you play the wrong thing, It is supposed to be a blast beat with that same bass drum pattern. but other than that, a very good cover.

1. Search a song you can play ;)
2. Get some kind of recording device (Notebook with Interface) and a Camcorder
3. Record the song as you play.
4. Edit sound (EQs e.g.) and Video
5. Put it together so that the sound matches your moves in the video
6. Put it on Youtube!
Done! It's that easy ;)
