  • @oeyesea this is excellent advice, but somehow i seem to be creative enuff on the bowflex, to just focus on a different set every other night, & if you are pushing it really hard a huge part of building ur body back is taking a break every couple months, for a week or so. rest.

  • my friend.. I can see where you've lost a bit of weight, but imho, you should be pushing yourself a lot harder by now, & yes, you will hurt, hurt very bad. however you get ur metabolism up, any way you can, even if its just walking very briskly for 20 mins @ a time. trust me you will start to see much more improvement.

  • I suggest trying something other than the bowflex for a while, I get bored when I do the same routine month after month. If time is an issue I suggest looking up "grappler's circuit" with Randy Couture on youtube. It can be done very quickly and it is effective. Also, as far as diet goes, I don't worry about what I can't eat, I just eat tuna and steamed vegetables quite frequently but if I want to eat banana pudding, icecream/ cake, I'll eat that as well.

  • he's prolly not filming cause he wants to surprise us with a current vdo of him being ripped , all they months of progress, he must be all muscle by now, right/

  • His last visit to Youtube was eleven months ago. Over a year after he stopped his videos. So I dont think anything happened to him. I think he just got bored and left.

  • What happened to Frank?

  • I hate to say it but I'm 44, a dsiabled vet with a spinal disability and I'm way ahead of you. I was 267 a few months ago, I'm 235 now and pushing 300 on my bowflex bench press. My arms arm are 18 inches and my chest, back and shoulders are XXL, I'm down to a 38"waist( from 54).I'm using a 1999 model Bowflex XTL, you have a new one. Hit that Bowflex at least 5 X a week for 1-2 hours a day. A diet change would do you more good than your work is doing you.

  • Frank, I'm not bashing you but you're not progressing along very well. You need to raise your heart rate and maintain it for at least 20 minutes 3X a week doing cardio, not a damn tread climber ! you should be busting on the bowflex 5X a week for at least 1-2 hours a day ! If nothing else, don't follow the Bowflex diet, it's meant to develope muscle, you don't work out enough for that diet.

  • Frank, you NEED to more than the 20 minutes 3X a week !!!! You're not progressing along. you should be way ahead of the curve by now. You should be working out at LEAST 5x a week for at LEAST 1-2 hours a day !!! If you can't do cardio distance walk or ride a bike !

  • dude you need to try harder you shouldve been weigh different

  • how much dough are you selling it for?

  • wtf at 2:30 that scared me

  • u fail my friend...

  • did you get the Ab Crunch attachment? that thing is a beast!

  • hey frank, are you still excercising? are you dont with the vdo's?

  • It's been my hard experience that jogging and body-weight exercises to the point of gasping and wheezing are the only ways to lose weight.

Physical agony plus ECA Stack pills (no longer available) is the only way. Then, if you slack off and enjoy life again, the fat comes back. Liposuction is the only permanent solution. Even then, you gotta stay away from the high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, and TV dinners. The American food supply is horribly contaminated with GMO junk and Frankenfood.

  • I'm not a big fan of the BowFlex machines. You can get in better shape at the gym with better equipment and it'll work better.

    Happy Lifting.

  • frank what happened to ur weekly videos?????

  • I guess this was the last video?

  • this machine is complete garbage when compared to free weights such as dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, clubbells, macebells etc..., don't waste your time

  • Wrong. I have had 2 different Bowflex's over the last decade. It has given me the physique of a Buff 25 year old and I'm past 40. This Machine is awesome. Use it as directed and you will get the results you want. Pushing yourself each time. I've used Free Weights and this is easier on the joints. Both give me great results though.

  • dude i just ordered my bowflex ultimate 2, so yea, but i think it works, but this dude obviously doesn't do cardio, and he thinks by just doing the bowflex with no diet, or cardio, he'll get skinny. Well, he can't, so yea i recommend bowflex, because i mean it worked for my friend, and he's toned.

  • Great work! Bowflex is a great machine, I love my Ultimate 2. You keep that up and you'll be ready for Muscle & Fitness magazine.

  • Frank, Great work I can see results. Where have you been and how is it going? I'm getting ready to get back on mine after some problems with my knees. I'm 46 6'4" 235. Not really fat but could lose about 10-15 pounds.

  • its because he has too much body fat that's why you can't see results...He needs to get in a diet first

  • your wasting your time, you got to much fat percentage. best you can do now is 80% of cardio workouts and 20% muscle ( no heavy weights )

Run 4 days a like 45 mins each and try to get rid of every single sugar fool food.

Have your last meal at 17:30 ( after that have some fruits and water if your really hungry ) keep that up and you will be in perfect shape with in 6 months ( i lost 30 kg in 6 months with my workout. )

  • I love how people thumb down the comments that are in a different language.

  • try more intense workouts and take some supplements like whey protein powder or axis-HT

  • Sure enough. I never even got to use a bowflex and i got amazing results. 12yrs old i was 102lbs of fat. 2 yrs later 172lbs of pure muscle.

  • pero este hombre que hace se compra la maquina y habla un rato sentado en ella cada semana....

  • Frank, Where did you go? I miss the videos.

  • is this a joke?

  • dude i have a bowflex and i got ripped in 6 months you have to try harder on your workouts fuck the 20 mins work out for at least an hour 3 times a week and if you feel like you can do 5 than go for it

  • @moi132 , what kind of a bowflex do you have ? What do you recommend ?

  • How much has he lost in total?

Great job on the weight lost, and strength gains!!!

  • don't give up once you do you will be back to square one. the bowflex does work but you have to stay true to it, and don't only do the bowflex also try biking, trendmill and outside walk or jog.

  • Have not seen you i awhile everything giong ok?

  • Have not seen you in awhile is everything going ok?

  • Have not seen you for awhile are you doing ok?

  • Frank,

I guarentee what you've done has increased your physical strength and muscular endurance.

But if you want the physique i suggest you combine your workouts with some hardcore cardio.

at least 30-45 minutes of boxing workouts and then your bowflex routine

  • i just watched some of these and could see you had lost weight and toned up. where is the current one? hope you are still at it.

  • Do you use the bowflex, or do you just talk about it? After 8 months you really should have a marked improvement. Maybe you need to get rid of the bowflex, join a gym and get a trainer.

    I wish you the best!

  • hey, how much weight have you lost since you started?

  • With resistance do so until you can no longer complete the movement. Take whey protein before and after workout along with glucose to rebuild the damage muscle. Also start taking some fish oil for Omega-3, it helps reduces inflammation of muscles after workout. I recommend doing researches with regards to all the mention items here, just so my recommendations are fact checked.

  • i had a skinny friend that would take whey protine then he just got fat why is that?

  • you shouldn't get fat from whey protein itself, there's like 150 calories per serving.

weight gain shakes on the other hand....some of them can pack up to 1000 calories in one shake. i'm taking weight gain right now but i only take 1/2 a serving.

  • 38 weeks and hardly any difference between day 1 and now. no offense but that's ridiculous. people have made much bigger transformations in much less time. i don't know what your life style is like outside of these videos, but if you say you really worked out with this thing for 38 weeks and look like this then all I can say is that the bowflex is garbage.

  • it all depends in the person i got the revolution xp and my body is getting tighter and my muscles are showing morei did not change my bad eating habits much i just eat more grilled and steamed chicken and drink more water than soda and thats it but it also helps no soda, salt, sugar and floor you will see results in no more than two weeks now i look a lot thinner and buff its not that hard

  • man whats your diet made out of if you supposedly use the bowflex for 38 weeks you look like you lost a couple of pounds if that im worried now spending that kind of money on a bowflex is this some kind of joke and im not trying to insult anyone i give him credit for posting himself with no shirt i know many wouldnt

  • Hello, What an inspiration you are to me, and to many other people..

It's wonderful to see you transform in front our lives.Congratulations 2000 stars:)

    DollyAU

  • yes I agree, I would love to watch the frank show , think about it!! you're great to watch

  • Missing your videos. You need a show just to talk to us, bowflex or not. You're have a way about you.

Hope everything is good on your end.

  • if you want results faster, drop the bowflex. machines are useless. free weight and diet is the only way to go bud.

  • hey frank...are you ok bud? its been almost 2 weeks and no videos....I hope your ok cause I am a fat fan......

  • Keep on working man, eat them carbs and protein.

    Keep up the good work!

  • hey frank just a quick question, what is your diet like?

  • I will! I wish the TreadClimber would hurry up and get here. I can feel the fat climbing back on board, lol!

  • @Frankentut Did you have a heart attack and died?

  • Hi Frank,

Don't go too hard when you get back to it. Those shoulder injuries and such can rear their ugly heads pretty easily again if you're not careful, especially at our age. Otherwise keep up the good work! :)

  • "Olá amigos"...Olá para ti tambem.

Onde e que aprendeu a falar Portugues ?

    (Hello Friends...HEllo for you too.
