@pyrrusmaster Note, this may be a spoiler~*  The Assassins cut off those fingers so the hidden blade can slide through that gap in their hand easier, thus the blade iteself dosen't cut their fingers. Ezio dosen't have this because he wasent born into the creed, I don't remember if Desmond does or not.

@BcParadise3 ezio doesnt have it because 1(the blade HAS to have that finger removed or else it wont work) 2(leonardo fixed the blade in the 2nd one, he even plays a joke on ezio saying he must chop off the finger. the blade no longer (in ezios time at least, maybe the design was lost by desmonds time) has to have the finger cut
