@brittany23lc In the long run, we're all dead. So if his "remission" (as you prefer to call it) lasts for years (until his last day), he won't give a crap whether you label it remission or cure. Maybe you want to also apply the word "remission" also to all the people who freed themselves of insulin, high blood pressure pills, kidney & heart problems?
@mrtruthforever I know someone who has MS and diabetes and only if you continue a strick diet it will possibly stay in remission. If he resumes what is considered a "normal" diet diabetes will return. There are different types of MS and it seems he has relapsing/remitting. MS causes lesions on your spine and brain and they will NEVER go away. MS is a serious disease and should be treated as such and not be ignorant of what can happen.
@brittany23lc When you say"if he resumes what is considered a 'normal' diet'.." you've made our case, for relapse doesn't only occur with MS people. There's"remission" from diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, etc.The body can return to a healthy equilibrium point as long as toxins are not introduced. Saying, well if he ever goes back to eating toxic (i.e. "normal") then he will relapse confirms the vitality of his body.He can outlive (with vigor) those whose body displays no warning signs.
There will never be any large scale studies on diet because there is no money to be made from them. MS/cancer drugs cost thousands of dollars a month, whereas the right foods cost a couple of $100 a month. Sickness/disease are an industry people, if no one is sick no one profits. I wish that negative people would keep their comments to themselves and not bring others down.
I swear some people are so negative they dont want to believe that most modern diseases are caused by diet and lifestyle and changes that took place after the industrial era. So sad. So many people have benefitted from diet with their MS, Betty Iams, Dr Jelinik, Dr Wahls, Hillary Rubin, Dr Ann Boroch, Judy Graham, Matthew Grace, Ashton Embry's son, google all these people and open your mind, use your brain.
'Also stfu about "peer reviewed" data for diet. Which "peers" did you want to have this reviewed by? Lol. And there is no snake oil here, these people have no patent on vegetables or health, they make no money off of you changing our lifestyle. hey are just letting you know what could possibly work for you and help you out. Also because you're a super genius scientist, google Terry Wahls, shes a Dr with MS who is conducting an experiment on diet and MS. But please do not bring down oher ppl
Ok Jake you say you eat no processed foods but how do I know what your definition of "processed" is? How do I know you NEVER cheat or eat anything from a can or package? How do I knowtp dd you eleiminated sugar, dairy, gluten or any other autoimmune food reaction food you have? Also by definition you cannot apply the double blind placebo model to something like diet. Because a carrot is a carrot is a carrot
Yeah, but so what? The only reason why this is news is because this dude has some whacky shit association with himself.
A normal person (one who eats meat, for example), who is cured of these same ailments would just go on business as usual. No one would imply that meat eating has miraculous healing powers or anything.
@Ash17030 And plenty of people who don't also have "reversed" MS. My point is that MS is not cured by your diet. Sometimes it just happens, sometimes it doesn't.
@Ash17030 I am not trying to be a "downer" for no reason. I just don't want people with MS to think that changing their diet will cure their MS. That's false hope and anyone who is pushing this should be ashamed.
raw food energizes the liver, but i am not sure it will reverse nerve damage, lesions on the nerve tissue, because i did the raw food for a year, and while energizing, not a cure for MS.

Might as well try it, there's nothing to loose what's going to happen. You get healthy ? lol i see nothing wrong with this. i got MS when i was 16 im 18 now so might as well try it.
The person with ms accurately used the word 'remission' not 'cure' as the author did. Anyone with relapsing/remitting ms will experience remission by definition. Not saying a healthy diet isn't a great thing but as far as known 'cure' would not be the correct word.
@gphx i just want the symptoms to go away i know i will have ms untill they have a cure but god is with me and i just want to heal my body . did you ever hear of ann boroch check her out . love april
Awesome testimony man! I am gonna get that book. As a bodybuilder it's hard to find a balance between raw and high caloric/protien count... any ideas?

You cannot be "cured" of MS. He probably just has Relasping/Remitting MS and he's in remission at the moment, which can lasts years.

Robin has surprisingly good looking teeth for a vegan. Is he a vegan, or does he eat some raw animal foods? Did he have some dental work done?

Raw food vegan diet is great but not for long term. Its a cleansing diet but after that you need a building diet. Learn from Daniel Vitalis!!!!!
