  • oh yeah, let's take a 412hp car with summer tires out on a wet, snowy road and romp on it.

  • There Must be a mistake it looks like a woman is driving a V8

  • E-P-I-C

  • Just plain AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So the 2011 gt is gonna have brembo brakes from the factory ? or have they been using them already ? Ive owned several mustangs nothing newer than a 91 though. .

  • @RDNKThrasher The Brembo Brake Package is a factory option costing $1,695, IMO it's well worth the cost for 14 inch rotors and extra stopping power.

  • @MixMasterApu

Thx man , I love stangs but my biggest gripe with them (mainly older ones) was the cheesey factory brakes and poor handling , But i guess ford knows most ppl will customize it to their taste anyways .

I would love to have a new one , but i guess for now i will have to settle on getting my 90 5.0 5speed black coupe back together :)

    Thx again.

  • @RDNKThrasher I know what you mean, while I've never owned a Fox body I have plenty of buddies that do and agree about the brakes, the small discs in front and rear drums just didn't cut it. The 94+ Stangs made imporvements in the brakes and handled a bit but still needed more power under the hood. 05+ Mustangs IMO ride much smoother, plus have a hydrolic clutch and brakes are decent. IMO 2010+ styling is a home run, 2011's 5.0 is long over due and awesome. Dream car for me 2011 GT500

  • @MixMasterApu brakes not suce a problem its changing out all the suspension bushings that was a pain for me i did alot of custom fab work and now i have an 82 coupe that hooks like a lazersharp in a redfish jaw and a 90 hatch that rides like its on rails....... thanks to cobra irs

  • Anyone that does not know the difference between factory hp ratings which are always at the crank and rear hp ratings should not comment, they just end up looking like total assholes. And if you want a car that finds the gears when you want it to cmscms123456, buy a stick, not a auto.

  • Funny, cause my '06 GT showed 289 HP at the rear wheels when I dynoed it prior to upgrades. It wasn't the 300 advertised, but then again...HP is lost over the life of every engine, and mine was used for sure.

  • @prancingdog

The advertised horsepower is a crankshaft rating, not the wheel horsepower.

  • @prancingdog ya actually neither of u has a clue cuz these new 5.0's actually have 395 at the wheels factory from a dyno u gota figure 10-15 percent drivetrain loss so theat says 445-455 at the crank its called sand bagging and neither of u should cry uve just been way out technologied oh and any of my stangs would waste both of u haha

  • @a90351cleveland: Your hubris is overwhelming. I hope you aren't as "full of yourself" in public, as you are here in the world of anonymity. However, I couldn't care less what you think you know or think any of your imaginary stangs could be capable of. I will delete any of your replies, so feel free to scorn me any way you wish from here on out. I really don't care, little boy.

  • 412HP... hmmm. My 06 Mustang GT 5 Spd manual was supposed to have 300 HP.. it was a big disappointment... Maybe 200-220 at the rear wheels. Andforget about that automatice transmission, it 'endlessly' searches for the right gear...

  • @cmscms123456

The 300hp is a crankshaft rating, not the wheel horsepower rating.

  • nice

  • @AltecV1

you get what you pay for

  • Are you honestly comparing a m3 to a mustang GT?

I would suggest you stop eating dumb .

  • @ABeans07 There are a few comparison videos on here between the 5.0 and M3, and they are pretty evenly matched. The M3 has a better chassis/suspension, but they're just about dead even both in a straight line and on the track.

  • Your an idiot

  • yeah.. well, ariel atom would fuck m3 right up in tha mothafucker...... Your'e talkin' to sweet dick Billy motherfucker...

  • they should offer this with a choice of rear suspensions, road racing & drag racing.

  • Nice vid xd:)

  • Ford should have done this engine change with the 05-09 models. Sucks for people like me who have the 05-09 one's.

  • @geraldsgym Probably because they havent been able to do it until now, sucks for you then. But there will probably be even be better and better engines from ford in the future, maybe they will reach the 500 horses with good fuel economy... or even... without fuel...

  • @CDTbossy Yeah Thats True. But Oh Well, Maybe Ill Trade it In When Im Out Of College.

  • The 302 is an amazing engine. Decently fuel efficient, powerful, reliable, and smokes the tires like not much else. I really do believe that Ford should use this engine in the GT instead of the 4.6.

  • this is a 5.0 302 dohc 32v all aluminum engine

  • I know but I am glad they are going with the 302 again.

  • V8 engine sounds fantastic and ferocious.

  • So did the Ford finally decided to put a Limited slip differential in this one?

Or is it the old Live axle that kills you every time you turn the steering wheel?

Looks and Power was never a problem

  • its a limited slip solid rear
