I'm going from flute to baritone in my marching band.... I actually sound really good on it and the baritone section has no clue how I did it in a day

Ive been in Marching band playing the marching baritone for 4 years and currently am first "chair"... and when i watched this, my ears were on the verge of bleeding.... But im gunna say forget that, IM GETTING A MARCHING EUPHONIUM NOW!! screw my baritone!!!

I play bass :) I have been the only girl until this year when I joined HS marching band. My section leader is a girl but she is a senior so she is leaving after this year :( Oh well tho haha its still going to be fun Sophmore year haha Which clef do you play?

haha. I would practice scales everyday such as Concert F in two octaves and Concert B flat and Concert E flat. I practice those everyday so I can be used to the higher notes. Also, I practice two chromatic scales only tonguing the first note and slurring the rest. That could help out with your playing as well. :D FYI I plan on getting into Symphonic band either next year or Junior year haha so, that's why I do all of this :P

TnT what you could do is make it sound a little smoother, your sounds ok but it sounds like he has rusty sides, i know its a bit hard trust me it took me a while to learn myself and i;m not even good yet!

Yeah....this was two months into summer so I hadn't played and my first time experimenting with the marching horn. I'm much better now. :D
