@dany1441 Get a 2-56 bit/tap kit off ebay for $5 and use your drill press and you can change any knife to any carry condition you want. I've done on all my Mili's.. works perfect.
See, I don't understand why everyone complains about D2 having no corrosion resistance. I EDC a knife with a D2 blade frequently and I have absolutely no problem with rust. Then again, I wipe off my blade after using it. Some people might not do that and expect no corrosion. I just ordered a Military with the titanium frame lock handle. I used to have a regular millie w/G-10 and S30V and I didn't care for the liner lock either. This foliage green w/CPM D-2 looks awesome though.
Something I just don't understand: with knives that are "tactical", there goes the assumption that at some time, the blade might have to be used as a weapon. So...why do so few of these tactical knives have really deep finger choils to keep the hand from sliding forward in a thrust cut...especially if one's hands are wet. For example, the Kershaw ZT 0200 had excellent finger choils. No sliding. What about other knives? like this Spyderco. Excellent quality, but hardly any finger choil.
Great review. I really want a Mili or a Para-Mili, but I've handled both and don't plan on them. They're excellent blades, but those pocket clips just aren't going to work for me any time soon. Maybe if they change it or something, or I make a tip up clip myself...... hmm
I like these small variation runs that Spyderco does. Sal Glesser said they will have a Military with a titanium (Chris Reeve) integral lock by the end of the year, can't wait.

I would have owned several of these already if they ONLY MADE IT TIP UP CARRY as well.
Damn Spyderco for making (of all knives) this knife tip-down only.

Love this knife, I have one and it comes only second to my Military BG42 Spyderco. Good review 5*

Why won't Spiderco offer the option of
tip up carry so I can buy it?
semperfi1000 2 years ago
if you don't mind paying a little extra, you could always get it modded for tip-up carry
kenthenoob 2 years ago
Would Spyderco do that?
semperfi1000 2 years ago
no.. i don't know.. .maybe a future model?
i was talking about getting it modded by a modder like STR or someone off bladeforums or some other forums.

Kind of a weird comment, but what kind of camera do you use to film your videos? I like it.
