This guy really makes a lot of sense. The last time I voted for a traditional Dem or Repub. was in 1964 when I voted for LBJ and we all know how that one turned out. It is not a crime to vote for a third party right now and there are some viable third party candidates who have not sold out to the big corporations.
IS IT TIME?! Go to USRevolution2 (dot com) and get your flag of the Second American Revolution. Theyre made in America and look exactly like the flag of Betsy Ross with a Roman numeral II in the center of the 13 stars. This flag is now in all 50 states and spreading from porch to porch. They make great gifts for family, friends and recovering Liberals.
most people have always prefered to see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil, the titanic (the usa ) is sinking, when it dips belows the waves the vortex will suck every other thing close to it, down with it ?and guess who is close to it ? yea everyone ! gold and silver forget it ?this is history in the making.
First of all your English and phrasing is terrible, so I would be more cautious when labelling others as retards. Secondly, you must be really dumb if you believe that what we have now is a free market. Fiat money, government regulation and price fixing; it all adds up to a planned, centralised economy, with the illusion of choice and consumer freedom. We don't have free market capitalism, we have corporate fascism, that is in bed with big government.
The financial market was completely unregulated - in the usa, is island, in thailand (1997), in dubai
The internet companies in 2001 were not regulated. Thats why there was Enron and Worldcom and AOL-TimeWarner ....
Free markets do not work because the primary and only reason is to make as much money as possible - not with good products or services but with fraud, criminality and corruption.
If you want free markets the natural consequence is corporate fascism. Same as 2+2 is always 4.
Yes but you are looking at only one side of the same coin. The system is a combination of lax regulation, (as you pointed out), and extreme regulation and taxation of other sectors, that stifles competition and strengthens corporations. The system is set up so it punishes small businesses and entrepreneurs while at the same time allowing the 'too big to fail' corporations to survive and flourish because they can afford to comply with the rules that do exist.
How can you say we have a genuine free market, when special favours and bailouts are doled out to the companies you mentioned and others like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, while the rest of America is left to fall? I am optimistic that if we returned to a genuine free market with sound money and nationalised banking, we would make the collective decision not to come back to corporate fascism, but instead strive for a resource based economy, advanced by technological progress.
First of all we had free markets before last year. The regulations and bailouts (think about it as "positive" regulations) came afterwards. So how would the american people look without the bailouts for the too big to fail or the biggest "too big to fail" ever - the US dollar which is looting the world and it's paper value is hurting other countries even more then yours?
With the crash of course the simple people would suffer most. All pension fonds gone all savings lost. Innocent people were caught by it. Mrs Madoff still has its million dollar appartment and the banksters got there bonus for real and weren't so stupid to invest it in there own fraud.
So bubbles are bad. And free market always lead to bubbles. And the consequences of bursted bubbles are very ugly. So what to do?
Promote a system that would result in more bubbles?
In the end we have to face that the problem is much much larger. A total oversaturation of all materials and the perishing of labour thanks to all the machines we invented. We already see this. The saturation is obvious when you look at cash for clunkers insaneness or people buying useless shit at china mart
Wasting natural resources for this shit? No definitely not - we are running out of oil, metals, water, land and foot. We need something else much more then economy
I agree with much of what you say about resources, I really do. I don't believe that free market capitalism is to blame for bubbles in the economy, I think it has more to do with the federal reserve, fiat money supply, fractional reserve banking and other such mechanism of manipulation that are employed by the government and banking elites. What do you propose we do? Either we embrace free market capitalism, keep what we have now, embrace communism or try something new; the resource system.
@llothar68 Those are regulatory organizations ensuring that if certain regulations were followed that the lender could depend on being paid back regardless of what happened with the lender. Regulation is as evil as DERegulation without any further definition. That's like saying discrimination is wrong. If you don't discriminate, I hope eating cockroaches is enjoyable because you'll be eating some very interesting things.
@llothar68 This implies that regulation is the answer. Regulation is exactly what caused the banks to go against hundreds of years of due diligence to lend to people who couldn't afford the properties and who were not financially stable enough to obtain a mortgage. Regulation caused markets to have false confidence in the viability of values. Have you heard of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?
Know this: if the names on Wall St. were Pappino, Bambino, Vino, Vito, Vagina, Mamma Mia, Pappa Pia, Lasagne, Spaghetti, Pasta Prima Pesto, Franky, Biacomo, Giananonnaninni, Giuseppi, Peppi, Poopi, Montavo, Gnocci, etc. we'd be calling these white shoe boys the Mafia.

Gerald Celente says a few things that are right..but he is dead wrong about China not being the next superpower. He seems to think that if America goes down China goes down...what an aarogant prick..hasnt he heard of the concept of DECOUPLING? Its happening already. CHINA will be the next superpower Gerald, mark my words you daigle wop guinea greaseball goomba!!
Wrong dteofil. you obviously know nothing about Chinese history or the chinese mindset. Chinese does have the mindset to be a superpower, and was a superpower for over 2000 years. And they will be one again now. The wall was built to keep the huns out (the huns incidentally brought ruin to the roman empire). They are a very smart and inventive people.
why do you think China wil stay stable long enough to become a superpower?
Remember there are more men then woman because couples are allowed to have a second child when a woman gets a girls.
Beside that you are not taking into account modern warfare. How can China become a superpower with different ethnic groups being able to use terrorism, chemical or nuclear warfare?
The United States can disappear because of ethnic stress (north-south), this happened to the Soviet Union.
Wrong. China is very nationalistic and coherent. What you are thinking about is India..too many differing religions and infighting..and India will fall apart in the next 20 years or so. America is going to destabalize as the economy crashes.
Have you ever talked with Chinese students on a chatroom?
Do you know the history of China, the recent wars, riots and the mass importation of Western media via the internet and the strong need to censor dissidents?
I dont give a rats ass about Christianity...Chinese generally dont like Christianity. Yes, I know china's history a lot better than you do. Let me school you a bit since you know nothing about it: China was once a superpower continuously for 2000 years (this was a long time ago)..It only fell into decline for the past 300 years about from 1700-2000 roughly. Before that It was the most advanced country militarily, economically and was the richest.
If you don't give a rats ass about Christianity then you don't care about it's impact on Chinese society and you are therefor unable to understand Chinese society.
Can you support the claim that Chinese generals don't like Christianity? Even if they do, why would that mean trying to pretend that Christianity has no impact on Chinese society.
How can China be a superpower when for most of China's history she was fighting with herself?
Please awnser these questions and the earlier questions.
wtf...It was before the industrial revolution you halfwit..and the industrial revolution btw is partly based on chinese technology, so without chinese ingenuity and technology we wouldnt have the modern world we have now. Are you in grade 2 numnuts?
He is right though: as long as China stays the mixed Confucian-Christian culture it is today it will not become a war like superpower.
It will either stay confusion in the power and differt attention to economic growth, or become more christian and direct more attention to economic growth.
In order for the Chinese to become more warlike they would need to become Muslims or Hindus, not even marxism was able to make the Chinese fightable enough.
Ha ha ha ..you are retarded..not warlike?? China invented the crossbow, gunpowder, the first machine gun, grenade, rockets and many other war weapons. They also have the Art of War which is read by the top military generals in USA.
Back then they beat the Huns and drove them westward and the Huns ended up topelling the roman empire. The chinese army was the extremely formidable fool.
If you really where to study Chinese culture, which you do not because you only give archaic examples you would know that the most important manual on warfare is not the art of war, but Mao's book on guerillia warfare.
I also notice that you are unable to give example of China's progresse in modern technology, engineering and biotechnology: making any opinion you have about modern China unimportant.
It does not matter to respond to me because you have called me a retard and i don't accept that
I call you a retard because you only see china and I would imagine asia with a western bias. Its annoying having to explain things when all you see of china is chairman mao...he is only a small part of china's long and great history. And do not be so boastful of western europe inventing lots of military weapons..remember that none of the would of been possible without adapting chinese technology before that. My point is this: China was once a superpower for 2000 years..and now China is rising
I know the truth hurts croscream but dont be so sensitive. I hope you were joking when you said western europe is peaceful..MAYBE NOW, but only because they dont have the ability anymore...but before..lets see there was nazi germany, the colonial expeditions of england, portugal, spain, netherlands..dont say they were peaceful!!! thats a lie! China is peaceful when compared to europe!@!
You are more like something of a halfwit. You are an uneducated twit that cant even type a proper english sentence. You lack vision and have a closed mind. When China becomes the dominating superpower of the world, its people like you who will suffer the most.
China will never make it they are too late in the game. When they rise the natural resources will run out and this braindead arrogant copy-cats do not have any solution for this.
And currently they are building there own subprime because they don't have any options.
