@cryptonet007 Yea, performance wise they are certainly great. I have a Strat with those type saddles also, that's why I kind of associate them with Strats. I've got an earlier Tele(circa 2000), that has block saddles. I was considering swapping out the bridge for the original ashtray type, but I've found that it's fine as is. Thanks again for showing us your Beautiful telecaster!
Hi, love your guitar, Just wondering Im looking at getting one and was interested to hear your thoughts on the different body. Ash V alder? Was either looking at the 2 tone Ash or the 3 tone sunburst Alder
I dont think its about ash vs alder. I think its about what pickups you put in the wood. I have a lite ash korean fender telecaster that has duncans in it and it doesnt sound as good distorted as this one which is alder. But its a nice clean sound.
I like the two tone ash out of the two you are looking at.
i think the tele in classic black with white pickguard is the best looking guitar ever outside possibly jetglo rickenbacker 330 but i must say i prefer the original vintage bridge with brass saddles myself- i have a white tele with black pickgurd and some mods like bakelite knobs but plan on getting black one as well
Its the Sanpera I foot controller that peavey makes for their VYPYR modeling amp Im using. Theres a Sanpera II controller which does much more but the pedal itself performes three functions on both units. Volume, Wah, and Pitch Shifter. It is connected to the amp by midi, and it probably doesnt work with other amps, but im not sure.
How is it for playing heavier stuff like nirvana, etc? I heard you playing AIC but it was so close with the background music is what hard to hear it. I heard it doesnt distort too well. Im not expecting metallica style sound, but is it really versatile? I ordered the natural ash after hearing about your little bump, hoping if it gets a little nick, it wont show as much!LOL
Im playing the solo to a backing track with just rhythm bass drums vocals. So what you hear of the solo is just me and the tele. The bridge pup gets pretty nasty when driven by a high gain amp.
Im using the peavy 6505 model amp on my Peavy VYPYR 75 watt modeling amp.
Also you cant notice the ding unless you were inspecting it at close range. I just know its there.
great video. man i wish i was as good as you. quick question, what is then metel thing next to the fretboard and is the pickup the origanal pickup tat came with it?

Thanks!
I wish I could of panned down to my left foot and shown the wah pedal in use.
I think that would of been interesting to the viewer.

Nice! Not sure about those Strat type saddles tho, they just look weird on a Tele. But if they sound good, I guess one could get used to it.

Hello,
Thank you for watching and commenting!
I dont really pay attention to them.
They do what they do and they dont poke my palm or wrist.
I have the same on my strat as well.
Take it easy!

I needed an American guitar to be in my colection, now all I need is the gibson les paul to finish it.
