In my interpretation, I believe Lacey is the helpless romantic wanting love but Kameron is sort of pushing away from him because he either has trust issues or doesn't know how to love her. If not, my second option was that, despite their arguments or quarrels they still end up back in each other's arms.... yeh. lol

This was season 3. I don't think Mia (the choreographer) explicitly stated what the "story" was behind the dance, it's left open for interpretation. That's what's great about it. Five seasons later, I still have yet to see someone as extraordinary as Lacey Schwimmer, in every genre of dance, who commits with so much emotion. This girl is a swing dancer, but she makes you forget everything once you hear that music.

@michellechasez81 4 was amazing too. Alex from 7 of course. I wish he hadn't got hurt, he was the only memorable dancer too me. The choreography was the best part of that season (travis wall from s2 is a beast). I didn't watch as much after alex left in season 7 or 8 but no one has impressed me.

Mia Michael is a legend. The whole performance was so intense. I believe the great choice of song really gave the effect to the choreography. Gosh, I think I didn't even blink for a second. @starryapricot its about having someone you love die suddenly and wishing with everything in you that they would just come back to life and sometimes even wanting it so bad that you imagine they do. It's a very heartbreaking story but this dance is amazing :)

@Tatertot073 I'm not sure where you can watch the full episode, but if I remember correctly, the judges actually had mixed reviews about this. They told Kameron that they felt like he was a tool & the dance was more about Lacey than him.. Not sure if that was meant to be good or bad, but this dance became one of the most memorable routines that season. It was one of my favorites! :-)
