actually with a zippo its the fumes of raw lighter fluid that ruin the taste.. letting the lighter burn a bit before lighting will minimalize this problem.
@diddymuck Mostly myth. Aficionados won't even use a fluid lighter on a cigar, but after using both my fluid zippos, butane pipe lighters, and matches, I can attest that it does NOT ruin the cigar. The most sensitive palates might taste the lighter fluid while lighting, but it disappears instantly.
@videosguy2011 I dont think I have a sensitive palate, but definately, there is a difference. Tried it a few times, and there is a strong petroleum, diesel taste that stay there, for a long time actually. It only goes away if the cigar is a strong maduro, and usually after you smoked half way through it and u start hitting the 2nd half with it's oils. One way to get rid of the problem, partially, is to use the heat of the flame to lit your cigar, not the flame itself.
I agree about the zippo though the taste doesn't last too long. He should have produced a match and struck it with his nail. She should have blown it out. That would have been much cooler than producing a zippo from behind a ear.

She's definitely done that before. Look how she twirls the cigar to get an even light. And I love the puff, puff sounds.
