I will help the narrator and dwelling in these woods are Wolves, Bears, Tigers, Lynx, Foxes, Mink, Sable, Wolverines, Moose, Deer, and many many more different animals.
"Fourth of the entire world's timber reserves...gold and diamonds......a thrid of the world's coal.....oil....." typical American view of the world. They would cut the taiga down if they got a chance.
"they're heading to Asia so no wonder there are a lot of Asians aboard"....?! Most (three quarters!) of Russians are ASIANS. When will people stop with this "Russians are all white" myth?! Sure the major cities are European but that's a very small fraction of the Russian population! Go to Siberia, Vladivostok, or elsewhere and you will see.
"vodka helps make them good neighbors" ha! ha! it's funny! I'm Russian, but live in Canada... hm... maybe I should invite my neighbors for a glass of vodka?... let me think... yes! this is the Answer!!!!
@sirQuarantino Vodka was invented by Russians, in Cyrillic its written as ВОДКА, translated to Latin, VODKA. In any other Slavic language such as Czech, Slovak, Croatian, Serbian it’s also written as VODKA.
"W" in Polish is the same as "V" in other Slavic languages, only the letter "ó" read like "u" is different; I have no idea why Poles put it in to Vodka. :-)
My god what a 'beep'. Sorry to all the great Americans but only an American could produce such a banal commentary. "It is like god lay down a white blanket then sprinkled a few house and a rail line as an after though'. No. It is like god created humans then thought why not put in a brain. The narrator unfortunately got in too late.
as a train travel enthusiast i long to take this trip someday.
wasn't narration the pits?
he sounds like he's talking to children...heck when i was a children i resented this patronizing overly simplified kind of crap.
he made like it's sooo weird the way things move along on the train--people wise--it is exactly like that trans u.s. and trans canada. on a long trip the fun is meeting all the diff ppl.
he tries to jazz it up like: hey it's russia IT'S DIFFERENT.
i would love to go on this train...one thing i noticed...at 5:00 the commentator says smoking only allowed near the door in the carriages...but at 5:59 u can see a man smoking in the cabin
I mean, what's that music at 6:40?

Wonder how much it cost from Moscow to Beijing? I mean if you buy your ticket at Moscow station, not from a travel agent in your home country.

A video like this(and a train ride like this) makes me want to have some dark Russian bread with jam, копченая сельдь, cheese, and a cup of hot tea.

Wooden houses and unpaved streets? Better than the inner city in America where people live in alleys and eat from the trash,

This narrator has the most arrogant, snivelling tone I've ever heard in my life! WTF? Is he for real, or is this a parody?
