yea i use to work at the local ford dealer where im at and a machanic im friends with listend to my truck and told me that it sounded like cam phasers, even said some of these 3v trucks have recalls for this prob, they gave me a cost of replacement around $1500 parts and labor, idk, guess ill start puttin money aside since they ran my vin and my truck has no recall on it
@Mrtodamncrazy Unsure as of right now, Ford said the Motor needs to be replaced but a private mechanic said it is something(I forgot the exact terminology) in the timing chain area as well as the cam phasers need to be replaced. I have approx 89000 miles on it and every oil change was performed at Ford including all service
Dont worry about it. its just a noise and wont cause you any problems
