Reading lotts of comments about who's better Shortino or DuBrow I get kind of irritated. Why? Well, let me tell ya...you can't really compare them. They're two very different singers. Shortino got a bigger vocalrange upwards but DuBrow's got a bigger vocal range downwards. It's hard comparing two vocalists. Sure you probably say one's better cos you like that one better but you gotta be able to explain why and try to see their vocal technique. That's what's important.

I love Kevin, do not get me wrong but Kevin was more a 'screamer' and less about the 'singing'. Paul on the other hand has a much better handle on the vibrato and although he belts well, he will never /compare/ with Kevin as they deliver their vocals in different styles.

Paul Shortino is an excellent singer- this clip shows that & the song is great, but it's not surprising this version of QR went nowhere... people wanted the Dubrow (RIP) sound, and it's hard to believe how fast things changed in the 4 years from "Metal Health" to this tune. Frankie, Carlos, Shortino & someone on bass should get together and tour, calling themselves something other than QR. I'd go see that!!
