and as far as human sacrifice goes I think missionaries and the spanish inquisition and current war in the middle east between jews and muslims have done an AMAZING job of that on their own in the name of Jesus. the street goes both ways people. If you're going to talk ab the history of another religion you must also look at the history of your own.
witches do not believe in satan so they certainly do not worship him. and they never sacrificed people. were their other cultures that did? yes. but witches were NOT one of them. I really wish people knew the actual story of witches based on actual historical fact instead of propaganda. the witch of endor is in the Bible afterall. and as for that you shouldn't celebrate Christmas either, since that was originally the pagan holiday of Yule. spread love not H8.
Halloween was originally a pagan holiday before it was christianized like most holidays celebrated in America so it's perfectly fine that you don't celebrate it.
halloween is not a christian holiday..so if you feel uncomfortable with it, you should probably not celebrate it. but also, respect those of us who do and don't refer to us as evil. we are not..we just believe differently. blessed be
"witches" is the title given to those who practice the wicca religion. we do not believe in the christian version of god..so therefore...we do not believe in satan. and yes, before i am attacked i know there are different variations of wicca..wow..lots. but MY particular coven does not believe in the christian devil. and halloween is a sacred day to remember the dead..not evil in any way. our rede states "an it harm none, do what ye will" very peaceful religion. we don't judge others. blessed be
ist off we celebrate halloween by dressing up and having our kids dress up to go get candy. we are not sacrificing anyone or celebrating a very old pagan holiday as it was a 1000 years ago or so. there is no darkness in dressing up as a monster or a princess or whatever! wow it must be we are demonic by letting kids go get candy. you are talking about a long ago practice that has not been celebrated for many many years in the way you are suggesting. there is no harm it if you celebrate right.
Thankyou. I have been having mixed feelings about halloween for quite a while.. My church celebrates "halloween" too by calling it a harvest party.. little kids dress up and we give them candy and they parade around the room and play games... My mom also says its just a time to dress up for fun..but when I listen to people like you and people at my church, I got the opposite reaction. Thank you for posting your story, You have helped me take that load of confusion of my shoulders.. God bless you
There is no darkness in God? Have you really READ the bible. I am Christian (I feel like I always need to say this when disagreeing with a Christian or else I'll just be told that I need to be saved) God, this almighty being who KILLED thousands or people and told people to kill others because they didn't worship him. That is kinda dark, don't ya think?
As a Christian, I DO celebrate Halloween. It's absolutely ridiculous to me how so many Christians make up all these silly little rules to follow. Nutty people.
@nevertoolate90 You say with you lips you are a Christian, but celebrating Halloween shows that your heart is far from God. Anyone can "say", I'm a Christian. The word says to come out from among them and be ye separate.
@nevertoolate90 Any real Christian can see that you are a baby Christian, IF you even are one. I hope you are, but if you celebrate Halloween and defend it then you are not grown up in the Lord enough see that it is wrong. I'm not trying to hurt you or be mean, but just tell you the truth. LOL
@williamsfilms1 Yeah. Luckily for me and my relationship with God, I have learned not to take anything people like you say to heart. I hope you realize when you say things like that to new/"experimenting" Christians, you drive them away from Christ, which is perhaps the most shameful thing a Christian can do. So sad. Have a nice life judging others, I'm blocking you. (:
@nevertoolate90 Wow, you must be like a 10 year old or very spoiled... Like I said "I'm not tryig to hurt you...LOL", but I know I did hurt your feelings cuz I was right. But trying to tell me I'm wrong for speaking the truth. Well grow up a little, cuz Jesus drove all the fakers away too, read your bible.
You're blocking me just means I was right about you from the beginning. Again take what I say and let it help you grow, I know more about you than you think. Keep on forward in the Lord.
Halloween has nothing to do with witchcraft or satanism you silly, superstitious girl. It was originally practiced by the Druids as a celebration in honor of the departed. Spirits don't rise from the grave nor do zombies roam the earth. Study some from reputable sources, not morons who think that any religion apart from Christianity is "evil and satanic".
If only you extreme Christians realized what jackasses you sound like when you parade around your petty paranoia and irrational fears.
Halloween is Satanic. Amen. Dressing up kids as little devils....... really? Also "Santa" Claus is really Satan. All you have to do is switch is move the n to the end. It's subtle but fairly obvious with some of the songs that are sung about Santa who is treated like a omnipresent god. Also, "ho, ho, ho!!" MOCKS God saying "Holy, holy, holy is the Lamb"
We are to shine the light and how can we shine the light if we are taking part of what the world is doing. If we take part in Halloween we are tainting that light. We are on this world but not of this world. There is no using halloween as a day for the lord. We just open up comments such as '' hey those christians are doing it too, so we can too!'' That is not the message you want to be sending. But if you could email me my email is mrgentlegiant67@gmail.com. and let me know ok
Hi, i really like what you had to say and i completely agree. and i feel the same way, and as well my church does do the trunk or treat. But unlike most. I'm not going to join in. simply because it is a satanic ritual. and no matter how much Christians try to say that ''its ok we will only dress up in christian costumes''. the truth is your still celebrating it. I was hoping I could use this video in my church this next sunday and was just wanting to make sure its ok. Keep up the good work
you all talk of the HISTORY of halloween.. let me point out that the HISTORY of whites was to enslave and hate blacks. does that we should hate all whites now? no, it doesn't. the HISTORY of the holiday doesn't reflect on what it is today. nowadays halloween is just a fun day to dress up and eat candy. people that oppose halloween for its HISTORY are so close minded.
@sourcreamcupcake Horrible analogy! ALL WHITES did not have slaves, this was created in pagan and occult worship and have the doctrine of demons connected to it ALL, slavery was created out of ignorance.......you are comparing apples and oranges
@jedihillis while they have pagan roots, the Church made a holiday "over it" I see no such thing being done with Halloween, we can't get away from the link of Satanic worship of Halloween and the high holy day for Wicca that still takes place, none of the things that pagans did still take place on X-MAS or Easter and they where not Demonic in origin nor a high holy day for wicca priests..........not only that but if you stood up and said "I am Christian but I dont celebrate the birth of Christ"
@jedihillis then you are only confusing people, now if you say I don't celebrate halloween you are taking a stand and it shows your allegiance to Light
@SETFREE21 The only people who are confused about this are the people who think that those celebrating Halloween are actually celebrating Satan and Wickin traditions. Which, I'm willing to bet money, is far fewer than what you want to claim. Never once in my life have I ever celebrated Satan by dressing up as a ninja, the Flash, or Batman. You honestly think people are so dumb that they really believe what you are selling here? Do you believe it's okay to eat meat that was sacrificed to Idols?
@jedihillis You are failing to see the simple fact you participate in it you are "worshiping" it because you are NOT worshiping god, so it's one or the other, you can't serve 2 gods, it might seem like simple fun but doesn't every "wrong thing" seem like that?, we should be more aware to the devils tricks, I mean he's basically slapping you in the face with it and you still choose to not see it and on a demonic day, how can we be so blind just because we want to do what culture tells us is "ok"
@SETFREE21 That's silly. Really, who are you to say that I'm not worshiping God by participating in a holiday? How do you know that my interaction with other Christians on this day, (fellowship, breaking of bread) is not an act of worship? Again, you're attributing meaning to Halloween that it no longer carries. Besides, who's the one who made the day "evil" in your mind in the first place? The culture. And the culture now makes it not evil. Again, I ask, do you eat meat sacrificed to idols?
I believe we as Christians should not celebrate Halloween. It is a satanists holiday.I thought the same thing as you before that it would be nice to give out candy to be generous and giving but not in a context of celebrating Halloween. Halloween always scared me and I always feel a weird feeling in the air on halloween and I know it is an evil feeling that I don't like. However SOME people don't know the true meaning behind Halloween and innocently celebrate it not knowing what they are doing
Halloween has become a time to buy candy, trick-or-treat, dress up, etc... To think that just because someone dressed their kid in a witch costume has anything to do with them actually believing in witchcraft is crazy. You can dress up without somehow having some "dark" beliefs or feelings. If you don't want to dress up and have some fun then don't but stop acting like it's some "satanic" event. You're making the mistake that having the appearance of "evil" must mean what you're doing is "evil"
I am a Christian myself and oppose Halloween. Halloween should not be celebrated. God is Holy and good and does not want us to associate with things that are unholy and not good.
I am a Christian myself and totally oppose Halloween. Halloween should not be celebrated. God is Holy and good and does not want us to associate with things that are unholy and not good.
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Matthew 25:31-46 The Final Judgment
32Before HIM will be gathered all the nations, and He will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats
@iLuvHomeSchool. I am so glad to see that you have a conviction before your God as to what He'd have you do personally. I believe that as a Christian, it is important to be men and woman of conviction, a people who know not just the word of God, BUT His voice to us as individuals. Trust me on this, if you continue to live in accordance with that thing (s) that God has placed upon your heart through scripture, you'll be really blessed. May God continue to bless you =)
Halloween is based partially on old Celtic traditions and also on the Christian holiday of All Saints Day. Just like Christmas and Easter... portions of the holiday find roots in "Pagan" traditions. So perhaps you should stop celebrating those holidays as well.
The maker of this video implores people to do their research... while she has obviously not done hers.
@CreamOfWeber You are not a Christian and you know nothing about the roots of Halloween, if you where a Christian and you did know the real truth of the history of Halloween, you wouldn't make such childish and ignorant statements.
A. You don't know whether or not I'm a Christian... not that it matters.
B. It's you that doesn't know the real history of Halloween.
C. It is also you that is making ignorant and childish comments. There isn't one documented case of someone being sacrificed to the devil on Halloween. Not one.
And saying that 'Witches sacrifice people' where the fuck do you base that off of?
Yes - Druids used to practice human sacrifice for Samhain - But different times my friend. That was thousands of years ago. Stop with the stereotypical BS :)
@RhayvenBlood You are either mentally slow, or you are just trying to trick people into thinking that maybe there are no real satanic sacrifices these days, by acting as if you really are that ignorant about satanic activity.
Do just a little research and you will see the truth, or are you a witch doing your assigned work right now??
Can't wait to see how you pull an answer out of your ass about this one - Seeing as how fucking brainwashed you sound - but I'm a Spiritual Satanist. Have been for 8 years. Dedicated myself 3 years ago.
Never thrown someone on top of an alter top for a sacrifice. Never sacrificed blood. None of that shit.
So, yeah.
I dont deny that people do sacrifice others. But why the fuck pin it on the entire group because of a few sick individuals?
@RhayvenBlood Ha ha, you think I sound brainwashed, and I guess you think duuuu, that you're normal duuu. That's funny...
Duuuu, your question is such a hard one to answer , but duuu, could it be that there are different types of duuu, Satanists sinse being a satanist is just about worship of self.
Duuuu, you're hard to talk to cuz it makes me try not to think very hard and instead think of how I use to talk when I was 15 years old, duuuu...OK, lets hear another duuuuu, from you.
You stated earlier - Talking about Satanists sacrificing people, talking about how all witches are in league with Satan, but yes, I'M the one who doesn't know anything. Mhmm.
And no. LaVeyan Satanism is about worship of self. There are more sects than just LaVeyan. But I'm sure you know all about them all with your infinite knowledge of such things.
I'm hard to talk to? Bummer. Youre hard to listen to.
@RhayvenBlood I looked back at all I wrote & don’t see where I wrote that, but no matter cuz, all witches ARE in league with Satan. It’s just that they don’t all know it.
Satan is the opposite of God. God is light, truth, etc. & Satan is darkness and lies.
Meaning when you deal in Satanic matters you deal with deception and lies and darkness, not with light, truth, and revelation.
All fools who turn to Satan become deceved & are in darkness.
@williamsfilms1 Actually, All Hallow's Eve, Halloween, was originally the day before the praying for the recently deceased who have yet to reach Heaven, those who are in purgatory. It is not a day for worshiping Satan. Please read the Wikipedia page about it, as this holiday is obviously Christian, Catholic at the time, in it's origins.
Bigotry takes an artist to Justify. Hypocrisy is common in Christianity. Imagine all the problems of Mankind fixing as soon as we rid ourselves of this Holiday.... not. I'm pretty sure 'Halloween' and 'Mardi Gras' and 'New Years' is not the major problem in modern life. You want to be devotional, its not what you refrain from... its how you get involved in life that expresses devotion.
Hey Emily, I totally agree with you. The history of Halloween is pretty intense and not something Jesus would take part in by any means. Thanks for posting this!
hi please please pleae the is a wonderful video, please could you post it as a video response to my video 'to halloween or not to halloween' would be a valuable contribution
SAY "NO" to HALLOWEEN ! Its totally a Crazy reason to celebrate ! Celebrate the day with Jesus.. Not as HalloWeen but as Hello-Lord Day (May be) ! How can Halloween (Creepy Creature's celebration day) is a way to celebrate through innocent kids !! What are we Grown ups pushin into our young ones??
@jinu03 We have a hard time expressin Merry Christ-Mas or Happy Resurrection Day (Easter day), but expressin Happy Halloween is easy & fun?? Is it really that FUN being Whaco?? I dont really get it !
@jinu03 'What are we Grown ups pushin into our young ones?? ' Yes... because eating skin bread and blood juice in the name of some man that may have existed 2,000 years ago is completely normal and good for children.
You are an amazing young woman. Very wise for your age and I love your humility. I pray that my children will grow to have your faith and to take a stand for Christ as you have. Many blessings to you!
Whats so great about celebration death and those same demons who are trying to win souls to hell? That like a killer name uhhhhh... Tom and he gose out and slotter people because he hate mankind. You got people who are dumb to put up a Tom day as a holiday and people invite Tom at there house and they know what Tom dose and they still invite him in and ask if he's hungrey or something. Thats how I see Halloween. Most people are too blind to see the truth behind holloween and some don't care.
@BJJistheway -there is no bibical evidence that says it was December 25th...December 25th is the Sun God's birthday...or where the Sun begins to rise again from its lowest point...they use to call it "when the "sun" is born. I would have to send a pm about it. There are ome good videos on You Tube if you want to research it!
AmeN! Halloween/All Hallow's Eve is a high Satanic holiday! Are Christians hypocritical when they partake in Halloween? Absolutely! ThankU for speaking truth Emily. May GoD BLeSS U for this.
Good to hear someone on youtube talk like this!! God bless you, I think its right we shouldnt celebrate it, i was gona give a few people a frieght, but ive kinda thought...nah i better not.
@JosapahRay thanks so much brother! all glory to God! haha i think im gona participate in the little thing at my church for the kids, but i think its all in the heart, if in your heart you feel like your sinning than you shouldnt do it, if you feel okay with God doing it then your good, wow that made sense in my head but it kinda sounds terrible now that i say it outloud huh? well... Proverbs 23:7 :)
@iLuvHomeSchool Amen to that, i really dont know..bit cruel me jumping out on people scarring them when they come to my door, just for a bit of fun, well ill pray to God about it. =]
@JosapahRay LOL yeaa maybe not the most Christian thing in the world to do.... i dont think fear is really somethin of God sooo its probably not something we should cause in others.... just a personal opnion :)
awesome video, thank God that you did this. Sometimes my kids and other kids who are in their early twenties, and even teens are more accepting of the truth when it comes from someone who is their age. I loved it when I first started realizing that youth were actually following hard after God, then my kids started realizing that I wasn't just some moron. Thank you again, guys and keep up the wonderful work!
Hey there my beautiful lil honorary Aussie sis! This is an awesome video......I'm going to put it on my facebook page coz it needs to be seen! Keep speaking out your convictions.....so important to many who need to hear! xoxox
@TheAntiBella yes and i do agree with Zak, if you would read my replies to him you'd see lol but yes i do see what hes saying and i do agree as long as we are careful how we participate than it is alright. and yes i celebrate Christmas, in the mindset of it being His birthday.
I guess, also, I don't really see Halloween as being a "dark" holiday. Whatever its original origins (it started out pagan, then it was adopted by Christianity--"All Hallow's Eve"--and now it's commercialized fluff), I would wager that only a tiny, tiny minority of people celebrate it as anything other than a night for dressing up and getting candy. So feel free to celebrate it--us nonbelievers won't think twice.
@TheAntiBella ahh yeah i agree lol and yes so does my little sister!!!! sadly though a lot of the middle school parties that some of these kids go to are in some ways worse than highschool! its pretty sad i gotta admit...
Really? Hm. Middle school parties--which tend to be few--around here are pretty tame from what I've learned from people I know. Usually chaperoned, too. They drink fruit punch and soda and eat a bunch of candy, then run around for a while hyped up on sugar. Which is scary, and makes me glad I'm not a chaperon. Though this year I'm not going to be free of that since I'm going to be helping a friend of mine with her church's Harvest Party. We'll see how that goes, haha.
@TheAntiBella where are you from if i can ask??? but yeahh, a lot of the parties and such around here dont seem to be that tame, kids get drunk in trouble with drugs etc. lol and harvest parties are usually pretty fun :) goodluck with that!
I'm living in VA, and there are plenty of kids who get drunk and do drugs (in the town I live in, there is a huge amount of gang activity), but I'm just talking middle school Halloween parties (which often have younger kids there as well). They're generally tame.
Heh, thanks. I don't often do stuff with kids (especially kids filled with sugar), but my friend who's running it just had her daughter move away, so I figured she could probably use the extra help.
Ah, you are gifted in a way I am not. C: I lack patience for children in large groups. I can do it, but I usually end up with a headache by the end of the night, haha. But that's great that you love to--I really admire that. ^^
You are a smart teen...my family does not celebrate this day in ANY way. Trunk or treat is the same thing as halloween.. just because you change the name doesnt change the fact you are still celebrating that day. Fall Festival.. Fall Harvest..trunk or treat.. call it what you want to "pretty" it up but its still halloween.
@velomir11 i do agree. there are quite a few things im learning now about it that i didnt know before, i still do not want to celebrate or take part in it, or support it, but i think i will at least go to the little thing at my church because it opens a lot of doors, i do get to help a lot, and im also not doing it to celebrate the holiday.. if we shut this down then the kids will be left to doing other more destructive things i think. hard stuff! i just pray in the end i will glorify...(con't.)
@chris62008 yeah i was talking to a few people about it and they had some pretty good points and after really praying about it and taking it seriously into consideration, i think im going to participate (i have a couple designated children that i take around the parking lot) because i mean if i pull out and so does everyone else the kids are just going to be left to doing something else (something worse) on halloween. plus it gives a witness opertunity to discuss halloween and such so thats good
@chris62008 true. i worry more about the witness that im putting out there, i know where my heart is in all of it, but i dont want a non believer to look at me and be able to call me a hypocrite. so as long as im careful i fully agree with you
@TheAntiBella well i know a lot of the kids and they go to a lot of these campground parties, or just regular parties, which really are no worse than a typical highschool party, but..... i still dont think thats the best place to be, for a highschool student, much less a younger child who shouldnt even be exposed to half of that ya kno? i think thats a pretty agreeable point?
Typically, the kids who go to Trunk or Treat or some other church run program are middle school or younger, so they're not going to end up at a high school type party, though I certainly agree that if they did, that would be a problem. However, for the most part, kids who aren't going to Trunk or Treat are simply doing the typical trick or treat thing with their parents. Or they do both like my younger sister, haha.
well Jesus birthdate is unknown but we just choose to celebrate in on December 25th. But I agree with you here. Halloween is really a Celtic holiday. Their new year began on November 1st so they celebrated just like we do on New Years Eve. Halloween is just for fun. Were really not celebrating anything. Just having fun.
@chris62008 -December is the SUN GOD Baal's birthday...also when the sun begins to rise again after being at its lowest point..or is "born"...just a lil fyi
Are you saying you don't celebrate Christmas? Hey, I don't worship Baal. I can care less when his birthday is. I DO however worship the Lord Jesus and I WILL celebrate his birthday on December 25th. Praise the Lord!
@chris62008 -I dont celebrate Christmas as Jesus Christ's birthday...but i got kids so it is for them. It is a form of corporate makeup for losses in the year...ummmm...."black friday"...it is all about capitalism...even Christmas trees...it is a pagan celebration. Im not hating on it. Celebrate it how you want but as respectively sound as I could be it is slightly, if not borderline ignorant to celebrate it as Jesus Christs birthday
It's named CHRISTmas for a reason. We are celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Nothing wrong with that. Not ignorant at all. Funny how you participate in it but do not celebrate it's real meaning. That is the ignorant thing. Praise Jesus!!! and have a good one
@chris62008 -i do it for my kids. I havent celebrated it personally since I was 15. I told my family that it is NOT Christs bday and give examples and etc. It is just how I feel. December 25th is indeed the Sun Gods birthday. INDEED! Take care
Dear sister..Imagine if all the money wasted on Halloween by Christians was used for missions and meeting the real needs of the poor and needy. We also must shun the appearance of evil ! Excellent points.Be good if your own pastor heard this..TRUNK OR TREAT !! SEEMS LIKE THE CHURCH ALWAYS WANT TO COPY THE WORLD.TRAGIC!!
@aflame4God amen to that!!! absolutely agree!!! awesome to see people get fired up about it!!! i am really having a hard time debating upon whether or not i ought to help work it or not! Zak made an extremely good point! ahhhh
Again Christmas is suppost to celebrate Christ's bday, if you go out and look at x-mas lights theres people who do have the set up of decorations of the birth of Christ, and this is Glorifying God. Try not to be confused, ask Jesus for understanding. If its to God's glory then Amen. If not and rather to opposing God's law, or God's light, then God forbid. Keep it up, where ever you find your treasure at in heaven from bearing fruit there shall be your heart also. Pray in Jesus name and receive.
@LionOfJudah001 amen thankyou! well there are equally as many people who celebrate it in the opposite mindset, i think as for halloween its something Christians just really ought to be careful about and really take into very serious consideration before participating in... as for myself, im not going to take part in it aside from possibly doin the lil thing with my church
@iLuvHomeSchool Well again about your apology about coming off a tad bit harsh or whatever you said, do not worry, for here is a Proverb, 27:5 Better is open rebuke than love that is hidden.
Therefore do not worry if people are lawless and practice iniquity its a good thing to Rebuke them, be harsh that they may not do it again, your helping them possibly come closer to God, and your helping God, for sometimes i believe God goes about punishment dif therefore its better then Love that is hidden.
@LionOfJudah001 AMEN brother i truly agree! i mean Zak made an extremely good and valid point, but i know that i myself could not find a means to take part in the day without subciously knowing that i were celebrating that day like i can with Christmas... although i could be wrong, maybe there is a way i could, im not sure about that yet, but yes i absolutely agree, and i dont want to confuse an unbeliever who is looking at me and lead them to believe i am a hypocrite. if any of that makes sense
(Deuteronomy 18:11) Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
(Deuteronomy 18:12) For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.,
and it can be very evil, and it is very dark, it takes place at night basically. So it comes from wickedness in a way. So it's best to stay in the light then even be in that type of mind set.
I do agree, because it's about ghost's, murder's costumes in movies, which in reality they transgress (acting but still can lead one to evil thoughts) and mock the law of God thou shalt not Kill and likewise other things in God's law about (Deuteronomy 18:10) There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
@BJJistheway so i was thinking about it, and you really are right, so first, thankyou for pointing that out.
i do have a question though (honest question, i would never want to be rude or mean to you etc i promise that)
but okay, so despite the fact that Christmas is a pagan holiday, as Christians we celebrate Christmas with the mindset that it is Christ's birthday, so as Christians what mindset can we have reguarding doing anything on halloween?
I understand your argument and it does make sense. I'm a Christian. I don't know when exactly in history Halloween started being considered a 'satanic' holiday, but it's actually of Christian influence. A long time ago the church needed a holiday where they would convert the Pagans over. It was called Hallowmas.
I'm interested to know when the it started changing from a holiday on converting to what is it now.
@OnlineJon well thanks for the comment! and honestly i think there are so many things behind halloween its really diffcult to get sometimes! did you chek out the link??
I agree. Darkness is the absence of light, as a Christian I don't celebrate Halloween, and I wonder sometimes about churches celebrating any form of the "holiday". I will be helping out with a little festival thing at my church this year, because the youth group I'm part of took on the project of running it, but I'll have to seriously talk with them about doing it again next year...I'm don't really think its right.
and as far as human sacrifice goes I think missionaries and the spanish inquisition and current war in the middle east between jews and muslims have done an AMAZING job of that on their own in the name of Jesus. the street goes both ways people. If you're going to talk ab the history of another religion you must also look at the history of your own.

Halloween was originally a pagan holiday before it was christianized like most holidays celebrated in America so it's perfectly fine that you don't celebrate it.

so do you celebrate christmas with a christmas tree? jeremiah 10 tells you not to.
christmas and easter were both pagan holidays long before christianity hijacked them
oneadamtwelve86 2 months ago
ist off we celebrate halloween by dressing up and having our kids dress up to go get candy. we are not sacrificing anyone or celebrating a very old pagan holiday as it was a 1000 years ago or so. there is no darkness in dressing up as a monster or a princess or whatever! wow it must be we are demonic by letting kids go get candy. you are talking about a long ago practice that has not been celebrated for many many years in the way you are suggesting. there is no harm it if you celebrate right.

Thankyou. I have been having mixed feelings about halloween for quite a while..

Nutty people.
nevertoolate90 4 months ago
@nevertoolate90 You say with you lips you are a Christian, but celebrating Halloween shows that your heart is far from God. Anyone can "say", I'm a Christian. The word says to come out from among them and be ye separate.
williamsfilms1 3 months ago
@williamsfilms1 Says the one who doesn't even know me, but judges my relationship with God.
nevertoolate90 3 months ago
@nevertoolate90 Any real Christian can see that you are a baby Christian, IF you even are one. I hope you are, but if you celebrate Halloween and defend it then you are not grown up in the Lord enough see that it is wrong. I'm not trying to hurt you or be mean, but just tell you the truth. LOL
williamsfilms1 3 months ago
@williamsfilms1 Yeah. Luckily for me and my relationship with God, I have learned not to take anything people like you say to heart. I hope you realize when you say things like that to new/"experimenting" Christians, you drive them away from Christ, which is perhaps the most shameful thing a Christian can do. So sad. Have a nice life judging others, I'm blocking you. (:
nevertoolate90 3 months ago
@nevertoolate90 Wow, you must be like a 10 year old or very spoiled... Like I said "I'm not tryig to hurt you...LOL", but I know I did hurt your feelings cuz I was right. But trying to tell me I'm wrong for speaking the truth. Well grow up a little, cuz Jesus drove all the fakers away too, read your bible.
You're blocking me just means I was right about you from the beginning. Again take what I say and let it help you grow, I know more about you than you think. Keep on forward in the Lord.
williamsfilms1 3 months ago

I'm not going to join in. simply because it is a satanic ritual. and no matter how much Christians try to say that ''its ok we will only dress up in christian costumes''. the truth is your still celebrating it. you all talk of the HISTORY of halloween.. let me point out that the HISTORY of whites was to enslave and hate blacks. does that we should hate all whites now? no, it doesn't. the HISTORY of the holiday doesn't reflect on what it is today. nowadays halloween is just a fun day to dress up and eat candy. people that oppose halloween for its HISTORY are so close minded.
i feel sorry for you. you're not free.

Every major holiday has it's roots in paganism. Even Easter and Christmas. Halloween is no different.
jedihillis 9 months ago
@jedihillis while they have pagan roots, the Church made a holiday "over it" I see no such thing being done with Halloween, we can't get away from the link of Satanic worship of Halloween and the high holy day for Wicca that still takes place, none of the things that pagans did still take place on X-MAS or Easter and they where not Demonic in origin nor a high holy day for wicca priests..........not only that but if you stood up and said "I am Christian but I dont celebrate the birth of Christ"
SETFREE21 4 months ago
@jedihillis then you are only confusing people, now if you say I don't celebrate halloween you are taking a stand and it shows your allegiance to Light
SETFREE21 4 months ago
@SETFREE21 The only people who are confused about this are the people who think that those celebrating Halloween are actually celebrating Satan and Wickin traditions. Which, I'm willing to bet money, is far fewer than what you want to claim. Never once in my life have I ever celebrated Satan by dressing up as a ninja, the Flash, or Batman. You honestly think people are so dumb that they really believe what you are selling here? Do you believe it's okay to eat meat that was sacrificed to Idols?
jedihillis 4 months ago
@jedihillis You are failing to see the simple fact you participate in it you are "worshiping" it because you are NOT worshiping god, so it's one or the other, you can't serve 2 gods, it might seem like simple fun but doesn't every "wrong thing" seem like that?, we should be more aware to the devils tricks, I mean he's basically slapping you in the face with it and you still choose to not see it and on a demonic day, how can we be so blind just because we want to do what culture tells us is "ok"
SETFREE21 4 months ago
@SETFREE21 That's silly. Really, who are you to say that I'm not worshiping God by participating in a holiday? How do you know that my interaction with other Christians on this day, (fellowship, breaking of bread) is not an act of worship? Again, you're attributing meaning to Halloween that it no longer carries. Besides, who's the one who made the day "evil" in your mind in the first place? The culture. And the culture now makes it not evil. Again, I ask, do you eat meat sacrificed to idols?
jedihillis 4 months ago
I believe we as Christians should not celebrate Halloween. It is a satanists holiday.I thought the same thing as you before that it would be nice to give out candy to be generous and giving but not in a context of celebrating Halloween. Halloween always scared me and I always feel a weird feeling in the air on halloween and I know it is an evil feeling that I don't like. However SOME people don't know the true meaning behind Halloween and innocently celebrate it not knowing what they are doing
dianalynn1981 10 months ago
Halloween has become a time to buy candy, trick-or-treat, dress up, etc... To think that just because someone dressed their kid in a witch costume has anything to do with them actually believing in witchcraft is crazy. You can dress up without somehow having some "dark" beliefs or feelings. If you don't want to dress up and have some fun then don't but stop acting like it's some "satanic" event. You're making the mistake that having the appearance of "evil" must mean what you're doing is "evil"

@williamsfilms1
Hahaha...
You're insane.

RhayvenBlood 2 months ago
@RhayvenBlood Ha ha, you think I sound brainwashed, and I guess you think duuuu, that you're normal duuu. That's funny...
Duuuu, your question is such a hard one to answer , but duuu, could it be that there are different types of duuu, Satanists sinse being a satanist is just about worship of self.
Duuuu, you're hard to talk to cuz it makes me try not to think very hard and instead think of how I use to talk when I was 15 years old, duuuu...OK, lets hear another duuuuu, from you.
williamsfilms1 2 months ago
@williamsfilms1
Lol.
RhayvenBlood 2 months ago
@RhayvenBlood I looked back at all I wrote & don’t see where I wrote that, but no matter cuz, all witches ARE in league with Satan. It’s just that they don’t all know it.
Satan is the opposite of God. God is light, truth, etc. & Satan is darkness and lies.
Meaning when you deal in Satanic matters you deal with deception and lies and darkness, not with light, truth, and revelation.
All fools who turn to Satan become deceved & are in darkness.
Have you heard God is light, so what is Satan?
williamsfilms1 2 months ago

You want to be devotional, its not what you refrain from... its how you get involved in life that expresses devotion.

iLuvHomeSchool 1 year ago
@iLuvHomeSchool
TheAntiBella 1 year ago
@TheAntiBella ahh yeah i agree lol and yes so does my little sister!!!! sadly though a lot of the middle school parties that some of these kids go to are in some ways worse than highschool! its pretty sad i gotta admit...
iLuvHomeSchool 1 year ago
@iLuvHomeSchool
Really?
TheAntiBella 1 year ago
@TheAntiBella where are you from if i can ask??? but yeahh, a lot of the parties and such around here dont seem to be that tame, kids get drunk in trouble with drugs etc. lol and harvest parties are usually pretty fun :) goodluck with that!
iLuvHomeSchool 1 year ago
@iLuvHomeSchool

@iLuvHomeSchool
Just because I'm curious, what do you think the kids will do if they're not at Trunk or Treat? What is the "something worse" you speak of here?
TheAntiBella 1 year ago
@TheAntiBella well i know a lot of the kids and they go to a lot of these campground parties, or just regular parties, which really are no worse than a typical highschool party, but..... i still dont think thats the best place to be, for a highschool student, much less a younger child who shouldnt even be exposed to half of that ya kno? i think thats a pretty agreeable point?
iLuvHomeSchool 1 year ago
@iLuvHomeSchool

@BJJistheway so i was thinking about it, and you really are right, so first, thankyou for pointing that out.
i do have a question though (honest question, i would never want to be rude or mean to you etc i promise that)
but okay, so despite the fact that Christmas is a pagan holiday, as Christians we celebrate Christmas with the mindset that it is Christ's birthday, so as Christians what mindset can we have reguarding doing anything on halloween?
iLuvHomeSchool 1 year ago
@BJJistheway hmm i honestly didnt think about that or know that! something to definitely think about. thankyou for the comment!

Anyways, interesting video. God bless.

@OnlineJon well thanks for the comment! and honestly i think there are so many things behind halloween its really diffcult to get sometimes! did you chek out the link??
iLuvHomeSchool 1 year ago
