  • Acela wins that race 11 out of 10 times

  • I heard that the speed limit for freight trains on the NEC is only 30 mph. Whatever it is for freights, the outcome still wouldn't be much different even if that GP-15 pulling the freight was traveling in notch 8

  • The gas ones always loose

  • Acela Express all the way

  • lol...it's like the hare and the lowly tortoise, only the tort never catches up!

  • some days after 9-11.

  • Before. The title slide at the beginning says September 4.

  • GP-15!

  • I rode Acela Express#2155 in April [of this year,2007].

  • LOL ! acela going 150 mph and conrail going 60!

  • Actually the Acela was going 125mph. South of New York, the acelas can go up to 125mph and north of New Haven,CT, they can go max speed[150mph].

  • thats not 125mph, thats more like 75-82mph the acela cannot take a curve like that at 125mph

  • Oh. Sorry.

  • No That is 115 then.

  • 115 it will derail and easily hit the guy filming

  • Even though the comment is old, here's a reply... Those Acela cars must be DRAMATICALLY shorter than the Breadboxes if they go by that fast @ 75.

  • acela win conrail loses

  • poor Conrail he tried lol

  • I know, that's sad to think about. :(

  • Conrail freight runs the line, I one time saw two Conrail trains pass through New Brunswick station during rush hour. I was shocked!

  • Wow, Sept. 4th '01. Just 7 days before the worst tradgedy in American history...

  • wow im the first to view ,comment and rate!5 stars!
