It's not a question of 'open' mind or closed mind every time someone expresses a preference for the original. Not all innovations are better. Sometimes old classics are better left untouched. How about opening your minds to that?!
Although I have great regard for TMK, my request to him is that he should not try to sing this master piece of Mahakavi in any other ragam other than KAPI Frankly I am unable to relish this particular rendering
