the song is not about suicide per se, but the inevitable harm one is doing to their body by using drugs. its taking the view of someone who takes the "older brother" approach (what mjk called it on aMOTION) and write you off as a stupid suicidal drug addict, as opposed to trying to understand what you are going through.
