@200XXXX200XXXX There really is no official name. The Bandai model kit calls the X3 armor "Max Armor", with its golden variation the "Hyper Special". So I just went with their name (I guess technically, it should be "Hyper Max Armor"). The name could've been derived from the fact that the Hyper Max Armor's Buster upgrade is called the "Hyper Charge".

The "Golden Armor" is the name fans called it. Although it's widely recognized, it's not official.

how do you use hadouken on the super nintendo on X1? i just randomly shoot until i use it but when im on sigma it just never works =/

Actually, you have to:

1) Press Down, Forward, Shoot

2) Be at full health when you use it

3) Be standing, not wall climbing or jumping

This move is a one hit kill to all enemies, including bosses, except for Sigma. Even if you manage to land a hit on him with it, it is deflected as any other attack would be. Otherwise, it kills all enemies in one hit.

As I've already said before, this is for secret CAPSULES. X6 uses passwords, X7 doesn't have a secret armor at all, and X8 uses passwords/secret methods.

Only X1~5 and both Xtreme's contain capsules.

actually in X6 im pretty sure you get the blade and shadow armor from capsules, and in X7 there is an armor called the glide armor and in X8 the armors are the same in all the other games, just laying around, theres a blue version and a red armor, i just dont remember what they are called, and you can also unlike the ultimate armor

I had to wait for my dad to go to Office Max or some place like that, and then I'd wait for him at the magazine section while trying to memorize as much of the Nintendo Power as I could. Yes, it's available in the SNES version. You'll find the capsule in the first Doppler stage, after the mini boss. When you come across your first pit (which appears to kill you if you drop in), scale down the left wall and you'll go through a hidden passageway. The capsule will only appear if:

a) You have every power up (weapons, 4 armor, 8 heart tanks, 4 sub tanks, 4 ride armor)

b) You DON'T have any of the 4 chips (i.e. pink capsule)

c) You have full health before going through the passage.

At Character Select screen, highlight X and:

PSX- press O twice, Left six times, and hold L1+R2 until the game starts (after selecting X).

SAT- press B twice, Left six times, hold L+R, then select X

PC- press Down and Enter on X

After that, X should appear with purple arms and legs instead of green. Go to any capsule (except the Nova Strike Capsule) and you'll get Ultimate Armor.

i think that u can find thios in Megaman X Collection for ps2, the x3's version that came is the 32 bit one, which has animation of the eight mavericks and others included, as well as some animations of things that happen in the gmae graphins on the snes, sjuch as X attacking thwe helicvopters at the beggining... i didn't reach this part yet, hwen x gets the sabre by the bug falling on zero, but i think there should be a aniome for thew fact^^ .

Wait thats a lie, In mega Man X, that capsule is not there. That level is with the armedilo dude, that roles around. I checked where that was and i found it and it wasnt there. Its when u jumped off the riding thingy with the bats.

dude you have to compleat the 3 sigma level before you do it and have everything or it wount work

You don't need to beat the first 3 sigma levels. The reason it won't appear is because:

a) You need every item: 8 special weapons, 4 armor parts, 8 heart tanks, and 4 sub tanks

b) Your sub tanks have to be completely filled up. The quickest method is using charged Rolling Shield and grind for health from the Batons (Bats) in the beginning of Armor Armadillo stage

Though you DO need to grab the health, die (maybe exit), and return several times. A special Baton at the start drops lives easily.

No, there aren't any secret capsules in those 3 games. In X6, you receive the secret armors through a secret password (and supposedly Black Zero by beating a high-leveled Nightmare Zero, which is impossible without a cheat device). In X8, the armors are received either by passwords or a special method. X7 does not have a (secret) ultimate armor for anyone.

X6 and 8 do have ultimate armors, but not capsules.
