  • You talk too much O_O !!!!

  • You are suppose to use this in combination with the tattoo eraser pencil FIRST, then use a brush or sponge to dab on the concealer and then powder to set it, over that. Maybe even a few times. Not just squirt some out & rub it in.

  • wow. i hate how stupid you are...

  • shut up woman!! xD

  • I clicked this link to see if the concealer worked and then had o listen to her RAMBLE ON instead of DOING what she said she was going to do. Annoying

  • I easily can cover tattoos with this Concealer, its all about blending, layers, setting powder, Etc. But I have to say the new dermablend Concealer is way easier to use.

  • ummm...who the hell RUBS IN concealer?!

  • I bought all the stuff and followed the steps. It still sucks hard core and is not worth the money. :/

  • @Skullleen yea, I returned mine after a week of trying! and I applied it the way instructed over and over. My mac studio finish concealer covered it more and I would say it's half coverage for my tattoos (it still shows through)

  • I watched JLovesMac1's video too! OMG I LOVE YOU

  • You talk a lot girl :P

  • If you wanna cover up your tattoo you should try the hardcandy tattoo, its full coverage and works great for under eye concealer too,

  • have you seen the new dermablend advertisement? with that zombie guy whose ALL tatted up? they completely covered him he looks like a normal guy!

  • Have you ever tried using DermaBlend?

  • wow how the hell did i end up here haha from bam margera's tattoo mistakes haha

  • wow how the hell did i end up here haha

  • ur gorgeous! But, sloooowww down...

  • you need the tattoo eraser ! also sold with the kat von D concealer

  • flop...... that's not how it works. my friend uses it and it works fine.

  • wow...you talk WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to much!!

  • I have a super colorful tattoo and it covers my tat perfect. You have to layer it though. Put a layer on let it dry, re-do....it even stays on the whole day. I had to scrub it off HARD to get it off after an entire day. Just gotta learn how to use it,

  • Just goes to show you... some people just don't follow directions!!

  • YOU are HOT!!

  • Dont get why people want to cover there tattoos in the first place. You knew it will be there forever and u agreed to that and then your just gonna cover it fuck if i was one of them peoples who used that i wouldnt have gotten the tattoo in the first place. My tattoos are on me for life and they aint goin no where so people could get use to them!

  • @TheBloodMoneyy : because for some Day job you need to cover it and for some other day you not ;) !! that my case ..

  • @TheBloodMoneyy

I'm an artist so in my career I don't need to worry about hiding or covering up my tattoo (i have a small one on my wrist) I love it and I don't regret it at all. But as a recent art school graduate I had to get a part time job so that i could make a little extra cash to pay for expenses in building my business. At my job i have to have my tattoo covered because i need to look "professional". So personally, that is why I cover MY tattoo even though I would love to show it off.

  • @thegreendoor88 Well for me if they say i cant have any visible tattoos, I say fuck em. ill find a job somewhere else where the people look at me for who i am and not for what i have on my body. u feel me?

  • @TheBloodMoneyy

If i'm lucky enough to even get an interview for a crappy part time job, i'll take it. Unfortunately I can't be very picky about where I work. It doesn't bother me that much to cover it though. I'm working towards moving across the country to do what I love so I'm doing whatever I can to get there. If that means hiding a little tattoo, for a few days a week then so be it.

  • @thegreendoor88 Well hey then thats the way it is...

  • Comment removed

  • wow you did it so wrong

  • LOL! Directions help. Try using those next time.

  • OMG SHUT UP AND USE IT ALREADY JESUS CHRIST. YOU JUST KEEP GOING. LAY OFF THE CAFFEINE

  • I could be wrong, but I don't think it's actually for covering tattoos.. I think that just a gimic because she's a tattoo artist and she has a million tattos. Like, if it was really meant to cover tattoos, don't you think it'd be little bigger? Idk, I just think it was just a name they came up with.

  • get smart cover! it works!

  • you're usuing it wrong..i watched other tutorials..follow the steps online at sephora..it works..if you use it right..if you just rub it on there like that, it won't.

  • yeah you need other products to make it work..... maybe you should have read the instructions on how to use it correctly???

  • sorry this didn't work out for you. You're right this was probably intended more for facial imperfections and not actually for covering a tattoo. That was very misleading....but you'll find something ;-)

  • @microhippo86 its actually not misleading, the Queen of tattoos Kat Von D made the product and has so many tattoos, juicytuesday used the product wrong.. my uncle has soooo many tattoos, he has 2 sleeves, shoulders done and back tattoos. probs more but idk. i used it on his arm and it worked fine if u did it right. i am not being rude just saying that she should have read the directions

  • I've got a tattoo on my forearm that I cover from time to time. I use this stuff as a regular concealer on my face from time to time. Following the steps on the sephora website and using the erasing pencil and lock and load spray really helps. I also use the Dior Skinflash foundation as a final step before the setting powder and setting spray and you can't even see my tattoo.

  • it didnt work for you BECAUSE you didnt properly apply it. There is also an erasing pencil that comes with it and a protectant spray. if you had all of those and took the proper steps into applying it your tattoo would look like it wasnt even there. just saying. ChantelFaith knows what Im talking about so maybe take the proper steps BEFORE assuming it doesnt work :)

  • TRY tattoo Camo. It worked for my huge neck tattoo.

  • I like youre tattoo.

  • Sad...It is 2011...Tattoo's have been around for CENTURIES!!..Started with tribes as a right of passage, etc...As I said...2011...And we STILL are NOT allowed to express ourselves and MUST hide under makeup in order to get a JOB!!..JESUS...We still BURNING witches out there??? CHRIST!!

  • BLA BLA BLA BLAAAAAAAAAAH!

  • if fallow theses directions it works great (:

    - Step 1 - PREP: Draw over your tattoo with the Tattoo Eraser, following along the edges then filling in the area.

    - Step 2 - CONCEAL: Apply Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer over the tattoo and surrounding area using the concealer brush; let the concealer dry between layers; pat instead of "blending".

    - Step 3 - PERFECT: With a sponge, use a mattifying powder foundation over the area.

    - Step 4 - SET: Use a Make-Up Setting Spray to seal in your work.

  • hey teresa, i personally dont have tattoos but im a dancers and when we perform we are not allowed to show our tattoos and what my friends do for their tattoos is they this specific tattoo paint (dont know what its called sorry) but they put a layer of that on top, cover it in powder and then put a colour over that which is the oposite colour of their tattoo, the powder and re-apply the concealor... just thought id let you know in case your interested in other methods! :) love your videos xxxxx

  • you have to use the Kat Von D "tattoo eraser" tool and then put the concealer over it. it's actually a 4 step process that you can see if you go to sephora's website. i was looking for stuff that cover bruises since my legs always bruise easily and i hate how it looks in the summer.

  • I have to say your tattoo doesn't look that bad :o

  • if you actually need to cover up your tattoo this concealer comes in like a tattoo concealing line. like i think there is sort of like a pencil thing you use before this concealer then you use this. idk try it out? maybe it'll work for you if u rly want to that badly.

  • There is a video on YouTube for tattoo camo. Watch it! You might want to get it to cover up your tattoo..

  • you are really cute

  • I think covering it up with something you can relate more would be a good idea ^^

  • it works best if you draw over the tattoo with a seperate concealer pencil, and then dab it on, and powder just a little :)

  • i just saw a video the other day .... and can't remember whose but she said varama to cover up tattoos really works. you might want to check it out. (i'm on the search for the holy grail undereye concealer)

  • In order for this to cover a tattoo, you need to use the whole product line, not just the cover. There is an eraser pencil that you use first, then the concealer, then a powder, and finally a setting spray. It is not designed to be used as a stand alone.

  • @AngeBrooke1 Are u serious? so the total cost of those 4 things would be what?

  • It would be a better idea if you used a sponge to dab and apply it that way

  • layer it !!!!!!!

  • you arent supposed to rub it... dabbbbbbb it!! try it i was rubbing it at first once i started dabbing it.. it worked perfect

  • You're actually supposed to pat it onto the tattoo with a make-up sponge, not rub it in. That's why it 'doesn't do what it says it's gonna' do.

If you watch the video of Kat Von D's photo shoot where she's using the product, her make-up artist is dabbing it on with a make-up sponge, and it's covering the tattoos perfectly.

  • so, i agree 25 dollars and it does nothing. i have wrist tattoos i cover for work. but if your still interested in a cover up for the tattoo hard candy glamoflauge is 6.00 dollars at walmart and works pretty great. unfortunately it only comes in 3 colors but its worth it!

  • @kiwibrandie Try Cover FX, or Powder FX- covers like EVERYTHING.

  • Kandee Johnson did a "How to cover a tattoo" video using an airbrush tool. It may be too involved a process to do all the time, but it sure worked well.

  • you could try the Kat Von D Tattoo Eraser Pencil prior to the concealer. not sure it will work but worth a try

  • pixiwoo has an awesome tutorial on covering up tattoos...they do like a color cancel...even for black. Check it out, its really good :)

  • I read your suppose to use another Kat Von D product than the concealer to cover your tatt, maybe it'll work better than?

  • this stuff worki use it for work your just not using it right

  • You should try Hard Candy Glamoflauge! My sister uses that to cover her tattoos. & its less than $10 a tube!

  • @luvlychanty Is it water proof?

  • @cracklinrose13 No its not waterproof :[ & honestly its not that long lasting. But its great for a couple of hours!!

  • @luvlychanty Ehh okay but thanks for the review :]

  • I know you’re not lovin’ your tattoos but try not to beat yourself up over it…you are simply gorgeous and your tattoos represent your past and who you were. Maybe you wish you hadn’t gotten them but they don’t change who you are…a wonderful person!

  • It's not supposed to be rubbed in. You're doing it wrong, which is probably why it didn't work.

  • I would recommend getting cover-up tattoos. I had large black tattoos on both my upper arms that I hated and got them both covered up with magnolia flowers. You'll have to find a talented, expensive tattoo artist to do it correctly, but it's totally worth it. Life is too short to stare at ugly tattoos and feel bad at what you did to yourself!

  • Glamoflage concealer by hard candy does a really good job of covering up tattoos, I saw someone on here (I can't remember exactly who, sorry!) cover up a fake sharpie tattoo with it and it worked (along with its accompanying concealer pencil) in 3 very thin coats. I have the concealer myself and really enjoy it as well (I use it for blemishes) Its only 6 dollars at walmart so If you can find it somewhere in Canada I would try that- Hope this helps! :)

  • honestly concealer on ur tat would take foreverrrrrr if you really hate it get sumthn really pretty to cover it like sumthin sexi, nothin in color bc it looks washed out, and if you dont want to do that then get that shit removed girl

  • Steps from Sephora site descreption of product:

    - Step 1 - PREP: Draw over your tattoo with the Tattoo Eraser, following along the edges then filling in the area.

    - Step 2 - CONCEAL: Apply Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer over the tattoo and surrounding area using the concealer brush; let the concealer dry between layers; pat instead of "blending".

    - Step 3 - PERFECT: With a sponge, use a mattifying powder foundation over the area.

    - Step 4 - SET: Use a Make-Up Setting Spray to seal in your work. "

  • I have tried cover fx to cover my tattoo and it worked great!! Give that a try :)

  • Ur eyebrows are shaped really nice! So does this concealer not cover blemishes & acne scars? Please let me know bcz im thinking to buy it & its not cheap !!

  • The company Cover FX was made in a hospital for burn victims and abused (scarred) victims, their concealers are actually amazing, and I actually managed to cover my friends tattoo with their potted concealer, mind you it wasn't as big as yours, but it 100% covered After all, it WASSS originally designed for burn victims :) I'd try that ANYYY day over Kat's concealers x o x o

    Source? I'm a cosmetician ^_^

  • You are ADORABLE!

  • Well, I'm sure it'd work on little tattoos, not huge black ones, yano?

  • @Tiffany7002 Even if they are small but done in black ink, it still wouldn't cover it. Kind of disappointed that Kat would sell and promote this as a tattoo concealer when it doesn't do just that.

  • ok so i went on to sephora.com and it said to use the tattoo paste then the concealer then set it with a matte powder and finish it off with a setting spray.

you should check it out! :)

  • Wellllll it would help if you used it correctly. Thats not how it is used lol.

  • @tattoogoddess85 lol kat von d says to use the tattoo eraser first n then the concealer

  • @tattoogoddess85 how is it used?

  • Dude, I love your hair! You should like spike it and stuff!

    Whatta studddd! :D

  • Hi Juicy, I use Dermablend to cover a small tattoo that i have on my wrist and it works. I purchase it at macy's here in the states. Hope this helps;-)

  • @MACnRose a friend of mine bought the dermablend products to cover her tattoo for my wedding. Do you not find that it darkens and alsmost crusts up? By the end of the night it looked like a giant bruise! so much darker than her skin color! and we even bought a shade lighter just incase!

  • @mariammonroe wow I've never noticed that, no. But my tattoo is less than an inch long and so using a smaller amount may play a factor in making it less noticeable ;-)

  • keep in mind that concealing a tattoo with this line of products is a four step process and people are saying that it works to cover when ALL 4 steps and products are used.

  • I love the MUFE full cover except that it photographs horridly (like shows up totally in pics as these pale-ish blotches wherever you applied it on your face, which is not cute). But other than that, it's prob the best concealer I've ever tried.

  • Through my experiences, kat von d concealer isn't that great of an under eye concealer. Idk, maybe it's just this certain one but it's a little more fluid than creamy. I have under eye veins that I really wanted to hide and I thought "oh, this might work since some people say it covers up the veins on their hands". Nope, not the case for me. And after a few hours, it wears off and you can see the creases under my eyes. When I apply more, it just looks cakey up close :[

  • I completely agree with jehdrake88, hard candy's glamoflauge concealer covers tattoos amazingly well! lol. Maybe just give it a try? =]

  • they sell tattoo cover up kits at bridal shops. i am not sure if they are any good but it might be worth a try.

  • this lipstick is beautiful on you

  • have you tried cover fx idk it may help

  • You should get a reddish colour corrector first to cancel out some of the black and then use concealer. MUFE has one. That should help out a lot.

  • @tepeca2000 your right, you're supposed to use a corrector that counteracts with the tatoo color.

  • your supposed t o use the kat von d eraser pencil first ... then conceal and powder.

  • Why not return it, if it doesn't work?

  • @jjillful can you really do that? (:

  • hi sweetheart! I happen to love tattoo's! If you hate it that much and you don't want to attempt removal....you should do something different! It's amazing what they can do with coverups! Go for it!

    Love ya to pieces....

  • I did a Hard Candy "Glamoflauge" concealer review -- on my Hard Candy haul. It's AMAZING concealer! It's $6 at walmart! I really hope you see my video response I posted on here -- so you can see how divine the concealer is! It's goes on so nicely, a little goes a long way & it so far has proved to be a 10 out of 10! My sister & I both love it -- I have dry skin, she has oily skin! It's so worth trying! & it saves MONEY!

  • i am IN LOVE with the necklace you are wearing here, where did you get it?

  • Ur posed to use the tattoo pencil to color n the tattoo then it will offset the dark then put concealer over it try that n tell us What u think

  • I think a cover up would be a great idea! You could do like a pretty half sleeve! I am in the mits if trying to figure one out for one of my tattoos too...

  • For tattoos you're supposed to color the tattoo in with the tattoo cover pencil she sells and then go over it with the concealer. The tones in the pencil are supposed to offset dark pigments.

  • just a big thing dont get a coverup tattoo if you don't find the right cover up it will come out bad.

  • I tried this product in store, and it didnt cover my tattoo either, so I did not get it. As for your tattoo you don't like: If your going to cover it up, make sure its with something you love. ( I have 11 tattoos myself) You shouldn't be getting a tattoo based on what other people may think. You should be number one in this decision. If you love it, you'll be happy with it. =-) I think a cover-up is a great idea.

  • I used this and it worked wonders! The trick is to use the pencil she makes too. You outline it with that, use this over it. set with powder and it's GONE! Mine is black too and I used it for my back for a summer wedding in California and you could not tell I had a tattoo! Give it another go!

  • I also have this but I was hearing the "Hard Candy Glamoflauge" at Walmart is the same but even more pigmented. Have you tried it?

  • PixieWoo did a really good tutorial on covering tattoos, you should check it out. P.s I love your videos

  • If you're still looking for something to cover your tattoos I would definitely recommend getting "cover fx" cream foundation and then setting it with model in a bottle makeup setting spray

    just a suggestion

    love you! xoxo :)

  • I really love your hair. I have been growing mine out for a few years... but seeing your haircut makes me want to cut mine short!!!

  • I heard that you should put a red lipstick on your tattoo before you put on the concealer! I'm not sure if it works but its worth a try

  • hey, i have 4 tattoos a bit smaller than your upper arm one, they're all black and i'm paler than you. so i couldn't use the lightest one hey, have you found one that does work that you'd recommend?

  • love that necklace!

    how adorable.

maybe I will try out that concealer, if I remember next time I'm in Sephora.

lately I've been going au natural!

  • i reallllllllly loved you blond and bombshell but this look IS more mature and sophisticated... verdict: you're beautiful either way

  • I love the NEW YOU , you were always beautiful anyway :)

  • Girl, you are BEAUTIFUL just the way you are!! I love your videos! Keep them coming. :D

  • told them to change it.

  • i have a similar tattoo on my back (tramp stamp) and ive also thought about getting a more feminine design to cover it or change it up. Turning 30 in march and i dont want remnince of my early 20s pam anderson-esque design. if you do cover let me know how you tol

  • I've seen kandee johnson's tattoo covering video, it just disappears, you should check it out

  • hi, im sure you get this suggestion alot but try cover fx. it really really does work

  • Kandee johnson has a great tattoo cover up tutorial =)

  • have you tried sponging it on your skin? I watched when she first came out with the product and she says that it does cover up tattoos and thats what it was originally created for ... then I seen that there was like a 3 step process to it so I don't know

  • lazer hurts and is not always totally sucessful. tattoo cover up is most successful by airbrush. it is a little pricey once you get into how much a machine costs and the makeup used in the machine but it does work. I say get a cover up. my brother in law is a tattoo artist and he covered up my first tattoo. now i love it. I totally agree that tattoos are a symbol of a period in your life and unfortunatly people totally do judge you by how look so if you dont like it change it! xoxox love

  • it takes three coats to work

  • woah.. you look sooo much older with your new haircut!

  • The hair cut is stunning on you! Wow.. just getting into your channel

  • What lipsick are you wearing it looks like the perfect red, which for me is hard to get.

  • My hubby is a tattoo artists and I know you can definitely do a nice coverup over your tattoo.

  • You should watch Kandee Johnson's video on covering up tattoos. I think you'll find it helpful =)

  • just laser it off :P

  • Comment removed

  • dont get your tattoos covered plz. xxx

  • You should look into theatre grade cosmetics. Like ben nye for example has really amazing products that with the right application would work great for tattoo covering for special occasions etc.

  • I think adding more ink to it is just going to make it bigger, not better

  • Cover Fx is supposed to work really well to cover anything!!

  • Maybe Varama works for you. See Glitterdollz7 video Concealing tattoos for an impression.

  • This is the perfect hair color and cut !!!

    You look really beautiful !!!

  • try wrecking balm.. it's a amazing! but it helps to fade/remove tattoos and could make it easier to tattoo over the top

  • We would love for you to try Ferbs Cosmetics temporary tattoo cover up. The tattoo cover up is formulated specifically to cover vibrant tattoo inks. It has to do with the way the minerals reflect the light that enables the cosmetic to do such a great job at covering vibrant tattoo pigments. The make up is much thicker than an average concealer which also allows it to dry faster with less applications. You can learn more about us at FerbsCosmetics . com. Hope it helps!

  • Please don't get me wrong or take this comment the wrong way...I love you, value your honesty and adore your vids...

But i agree the tat-especially the arm one--just makes all women look trashier.

You are such a classical beauty, and hopefully you can get it removed or covered. I do know that removals dont work all that well, but you're still fabulous :)

  • in your opinion do u think that the kat vond is better than erase paste? i was gonna get the kat vond but the girl talked me into erase paste and i have severe circles! really trust your opinion.. u llok great wit that haircut!! thanks

  • @cary675 I would like to know that also. I am very fair skinned with horrible blue circles under my eyes and I can't find anything that even comes close. I also have very dry skin to the concealers in the pots look cakey. I was thinkin kat von d, erase paste, or makes pro long wear... i dont know.

  • @cary675 They are so different. The erase paste is a lot thicker. For me I prefer the kat under my eyes but it may just be because the erase is only in three colours and none are good for me right now. I wish I could be more helpful. I really loved the erase paste when It matched my skin. Have you tried the makeup forever full cover waterproof? I really like that one too and it stays all day long for real.

  • @cary675

Gaw - I need like, laser treatment on my dark circles...

  • you should watch pixiwoo's tutorial on how to cover tattoo's... it's really helpful

  • @awebbbb i was gonna suggest that too, seems to me it works!

  • Have you tried Cover FX to conceal your tatoos? I think the cover-up idea is excellent! Hugs...

  • let me just say i myself was very only 18... i will keep in touch to see if you ever do find something... Im really thinking hard on getting a airbrush system... what do you think????? i dunno... i miss wearing skimpy shirts like everyone eles in the summer.. =(

  • gahhh i so know where your coming from.. i have a cluster of stars and planets... i freaking hate it.. i had so many awful looks that i now own nothing under 3/4 shirts. sucks.. with only certain clothing.. but its better then the looks you get...but i love how you rock yours.. LOVE IT>. your awesome in more ways then one... rock on gal.. fuck em'

  • I like your tattoo. :)

  • You should totally cover it up with something more girly and not so 1990's Pamela Andersonish. I think it would fit you better.

  • what is your tattoo anyway?

  • Don't add more to it lady love!! You will later be like..ugh why did I do this!

  • @juicytuesday lol

  • @karan6 seriously, don't we have enough negativity in our lives without having to act so immature? There's sooo many gurus you can watch and like without having to comment just to see your name on this....grow up.

Juicytuesday is an adorable girl and I love watching your videos! Keep up the good work!

  • My friend has a wrist tattoo and she buys makeup from the bridal store to cover it up when she needs to. She said it works really well.

  • I use this on under eye circles too. However derma blend has the best tattoo cover up EVER. It covers ANTYHING. <3

  • pixiwoo has a GREAT "Tatoo covering tutorial"!

    It's on their BASICS playlist

It's based on the color wheel. Nic has a tatoo very similar to yours and I swear she makes it disappear! Check it out juicy!
