Women INITIATE instances of domestic violence MORE than men. But who would want to talk about that, right?

Domestic violence is still largely considered a 'male perpetrator / woman victim' issue even in the face of these facts, so this whole argument is totally and inherently biased. The law holds men and women to a totally different and double standard so until we all call a spade a spade, the statistics will reflect this and remain inaccurate and manipulated.

Both a growing culture of violence and men are more willing to report. Also, men not necessarily main offenders due to convictions! Men are subject to extensive false accusations and far stricter guidelines. men are still rarely reporting and women's violence is particularly extreem for them to be convicted where-as men are convicted on ridiculous feminist derived notions of violence like speaking in a tone that she doesn't like etc. When was a woman last convicted for something like that?

This guy is running a feminist sponsored domestic abuse helpline who in turn are funded by the government. They set up these lines because it allows them to skew the figures. No one is fooled by this idiot. Graham-Kevin is a scientist looking at domestic violence through careful research, not stories given out by unknown callers to a help line and to an organisation who need the numbers to be high to keep their funding and so have a vested interest in keeping them that way His wage depends on it

The female expert is VERY WRONG There are to many female psychologists working in the area of men as a syndrome itself. The trouble is, is that women interpret the evidence with female qualia and a mental cartography on men that is unhealthy, this hasn't been psychologically examined by itself, meaning that for the past 40 yrs it has been full of bias, being filed research in reality for a feminist political agenda WOMEN have increased in violence and psychological violence by onset of feminism

@DumblyBrilliant hi, I have studied the female psyche for many years on this very subject and discovered something psychologically about this. I do not like any female psychologist talking about mens rights because of how the female brain internalizes the matter. If she says she is for men who cares is my view. For me often this is also financial or guilt ladened or a contorted form of still-feminism.I believe the female psyche is much darker, if this doesnt help I have further information... .

"Women are equally as likely to be aggressive" - vicious bitches who believe that they are entitled to be violent while relying on the belief that men are not allowed to hit back. How many men are being abused or killed by women who then get counselling or suspended sentences? How can women call themselves "equal" when they continually expect special treatment and different standards after they have committed the crime of domestic violence?

Women hitting men is perceived differently than men hitting women. Women I work with laugh about the fact that they hit their husbands out of anger. It's not seen as a big deal because they can not do as much physical damage. I suspect women hit men more than men hit women - it's just considered "cute" rather than violent.

A slap for either is about the same. The primary difference is that women define themselves primarily by facial beauty. A black-n-blue mark is a reduction in female sexual leverage whereas for men, a scar or bruise is a mark of perseverance. If women want to compete equally with men, this beauty factor is in need of equalization.

@cavejourney THAT is the problem. Women in the 1970's had the same feelings about being hit as men. It was massive publicity that educated them. The problem is, no government is willing to pay for the publicity to educate men. Consequently, men still think being hit by a women is shaming and something they should not talk about.
