Load sucks in my opinion,it has 3 songs I like,theyre jus not hits metallica is capable of,reload is similar style but way better songs,better sound,and more metallica while changing it up a bit at the same time...Load and st anger=no good...Id still listen to load b4 st anger anyday though...All rift no solos???Really????
@TheLiamSmithMan Really???hope u can sense the sarcasm...Metallica is know for good vocals/lyrics,good rifts,good solos,n good drumming...Its the combination of all these that make Metallica great,their melody and delivery is something thats a signature with them,it gives u the sense when u listen to a song it feels like u herd 3 or 4 songs in 7 mins and r completely blown away...
@malchow3x7 Just give Load a few listens per songs, it takes time to take in, same for St. Anger. Best songs on Load are Cure, Bleeding Me, Wasted My Hate and Outlaw Torn. Off of St. Anger it is Shoot Me Again, Dirty Window, Sweet Amber and All Within My Hands. Just my opinion, give them all a few listens and you'll eventually suck it in, and then rejoice in the awesomeness.

Every band changes their musical style in one way or the other. Metallica decided to play more grunge/hard rock-ish stuff in ReLoad, and more bluesy stuff in Load. I say its a part of every band's career.

@classy12137 Me too! KEA - AJFA were just masterpieces! The Black Album was a great HEAVY metal album, Load and ReLoad were good experimental album with some amazing songs. St.Anger was kinda average, but still had some songs on it, which i like (Frantic, St.Anger, SKOM, Shoot Me Again). Death Magnetic IMO is just a rip-off of AJFA, i like some songs there but sill. To be honest, though i,m not a big Metallica fan now, i've found good moments in all of their albums!
@dennniss100 except for that they haven't made anything like death magnetic in over 20 years, an in it of itself death magnetic is a huge accomplishment and a great album
It's amazing the comeback metallica had, i mean i like this album, but Deathmagnetic blows it so far out of the water it ends up in the sun! Deathmagnetic was a MOP/RTL quality album!
