Well, Mechanic & Magnificent 7 were actually produced by mainstream companies as opposed to the silly Canon films.Plus,Bronson actually was almost as respected an actor as Clint Eastwood & he did tons of good Westerns while Chuck Norris is a stuntmen who is a cult sensation.

Only studio today that seems to produce good hardcore Action films is Lionsgate.Just watch Punisher (2004), Reservoir Dogs, Punisher: War Zone, The Condemned & Bangkok Dangerous (2008) with Nicolas Cage & you'll see
