@hamletthunktoomuchh Marching past cop's that unjustly block you is not combative. The only people that are combative are the cop's. For not allowing the protester's to move forward. Non-violent protest work sometimes,not all the time. In this insistence it is of a different caliber. When dealing with such a high power opposition, non-violent protest can and will be ignored. It is most likely going to be the out come. Outdated protest strategies will not work. A new protest method needs to form.

@DrunkGamerNerd Non-violent protest works, it just takes time. Violent protest is always swiftly quelled. The system knows how to handle people being physically combative. It cannot deal with people occupying space and peacefully protesting. There is no manual for how to resolve that situation, and that's why it works.
